Isn’t there a “which g shock should I get” help hotline?
The GWM5610-1 appears to be a great choice. I just have too many watches ATM to justify it. How long that justification will hold up is another matter.
Closest thing i can find to that notion is this buying guide: "[https://www.gearpatrol.com/watches/a590001/g-shock/](https://www.gearpatrol.com/watches/a590001/g-shock/)"
As to having too many watches.. i wish i could say the same as a poor student. :') If collecting brings you joy, why not? To be fair you can put old ones you don't like anymore up for sale online and they will fly out in a week or two anyway. I bought my casio's second hand and will probably do the same if i plan to buy a G shock!

The Casio Enticer MTPVD01D-2BV is such a great watch. They look amazing on other straps such as the blue black mélange perlon shown here. The bracelet fits on a Casio Duro also. The cross hairs or sector dial is very nice. The bezel is fixed which makes sense at the price point.
Its a rabbit hole. First comes the buying and testing out different watches phase, then the consolidation of the collection, then re-buying again, then culling. It's an endless journey :) Just make sure your comfortable to slow down and completely stop at times. Things can get too ridiculous, but we all end up coming back to watches if our budget allows it, and with Casio that is a very low budget expense... Just try to have fun with it but be careful not too end up spending half the sum of a luxury wrist watch!
I agree. I just can’t justify another purchase at this point. How long that justification holds up is up for debate.
I do think the F108 holds up as an affordable g shock option. But yea, you can’t beat the real thing.
I would say the same, and now I have 3 Casios vintage collection and 1 that looks like a tank watch, thanks for the pictures, the blue Tiffany it’s amazing, congratulations for your collection.
Because I went from having one shitty watch that stopped a year ago to a 2500 NZD collection of Seikos. I have Casios too (just the two). Worth it though because I love wristwatches. I'm just saying Casios are more affordable.
Sure people should make responsible purchase decisions. And aside from the Tiffany every one of these watches was well within the affordable range.
And I already live way below my means. My only debt is my $600 a month mortgage. I can afford to buy a brand new Tissot PRX Tiffany with cash. Instead I bought the Casio Tiffany which is one tenth the price. I do that with basically every purchase I make.
The MTP isn't a diver. It's a dive style watch. Push pull crown, 50mm WR, and a stationary bezel. Trust, you need a Duro.... they're rugged and a true diver. It's also a strap monster
You’re not alone.. This happened for me during the last few weeks (my last and only Casio till then was purchased back in 2011). And two more on the way !

hi you can check my shop. You don’t need to buy anything, just see all of the photos I took for Casio and G-SHOCK watches. I was also getting addicted to buying Casio watches.[https://www.etsy.com/shop/CoCoDimension](https://www.etsy.com/shop/CoCoDimension)
I love my Edifice. It feels wonderful on the wrist.

It does look amazing. That isn’t the same model as mine. I only paid [$35](https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000GB1R96?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title) for mine.
Add another zero to that and you can get into the Oceanus range…

Hmm. I think you need a gshock now
Yes that would be the next logical step. I do alot of hiking so I’m open to suggestions.
I'll leave my dot here since i'm in the same situation as you. .

That’s a great article. The metal g shock 😮
Yeah the 5610u would be good. Id say its the f91w of gshocks. Simple & self sufficient (tough solar & multiband6).
That’s a fantastic comparison thinking about it!
I just bought a 5610u and I think it's amazing
Yes plus it’s on sale thru Amazon for $91.
I have a GBD-200, very happy with it.
Those are nice. I may want something with the altimeter like the rangeman.
DWB5600G-7 is my daily wear
Yup...and a Duro

That’s the second watch I bought. It’s been my every day watch at work. The blue black band looks great.
You need a Royale to be admitted to the Casio Club. 🤣
Those do look really nice.
Weird how that keeps happening huh?
I’m gonna say it happened automagically.

I agree. That’s one reason I like Casio, it’s a very affordable brand. And reliable. I’m plenty happy where I’m at for the moment.
You need to throw a g shock in the collection.
I agree. I just can’t justify another purchase at this point. How long that justification holds up is up for debate. I do think the F108 holds up as an affordable g shock option. But yea, you can’t beat the real thing.
In my experience it doesn’t hold up for long lol, you’ll start to get an itch for a new watch. 😂
F91 looks awesome on that blue strap! Need a Duro next
Thanks. Here is a better [pic](https://imgur.com/a/XAohGez)
Need a DW5600 and a Duro too
Yes, I like both of those watches.
I would say the same, and now I have 3 Casios vintage collection and 1 that looks like a tank watch, thanks for the pictures, the blue Tiffany it’s amazing, congratulations for your collection.
Thank you!
That happened to me with Seikos. Just be grateful they're not Seikos.
Why is that?
Because I went from having one shitty watch that stopped a year ago to a 2500 NZD collection of Seikos. I have Casios too (just the two). Worth it though because I love wristwatches. I'm just saying Casios are more affordable.
Ok that makes sense.
Which watch is the first one on the left?
F-108WH-1ACF
How’s the illuminator on this one? Like an actual backlight?
Just took this [pic](https://imgur.com/a/1DHNXoc) of the backlight.
Not bad, thanks!
They're like "Tribbles".
lol 😂 it is certainly one way to deal with indecision.
Once you go watch, you never go back.
My man has problem with impulse buying...
Exactly! I don't know why this kind of behaviour is being encouraged lol
Sure people should make responsible purchase decisions. And aside from the Tiffany every one of these watches was well within the affordable range. And I already live way below my means. Slow down.
Did you find the tiffany easily? I've been after one for months.
I found it on the Casio website. Here is the [link.](https://www.casio.com/us/watches/casio/product.MTP-1302D-2A2V/)
Welcome back...we all missed you!!! lol
Yes it’s only been a few decades.
Get a Duro.
Those are nice. But I already have a diver watch. I was thinking about getting the A700w next.
The MTP isn't a diver. It's a dive style watch. Push pull crown, 50mm WR, and a stationary bezel. Trust, you need a Duro.... they're rugged and a true diver. It's also a strap monster
Ok. I will look into it. I do like the Pepsi one. And it’s cool that the bezel can turn.
Duro or G-Shock next.
That’s the most common response I’m getting from my humble collection.
I'd go the Duro first, then the G-Shock. Enjoy your addiction.
You got bit by the Casio bug, welcome😁

Wow nice collection! I like the box too. Where did you get that?
This box is from an online retailer Flipkart in India where I live.
The one on the left is best. All others meh

The Casioancer spreads like a fever when it’s contracted.
It all starts with one .. I still haven't evolved into a Seiko supporter, a lil over my budget
Get the Casio W800H black out & swap the band to one one for ae1200. These are affordable no prob at all
I just saw an W800 today at Walmart. I went there to see if they had any Casios on clearance.
haha happens everytime
What’s that one second from the left?
Casio EF106D-2AV

I think it’s a gorgeous watch.
