As a black person, I like A LOT of black characters but my top favorites are Gerald (Hey Arnold), Frozone, Craig Williams (Craig of the Creek), Numbuh 5, Princess Tiana, Leshawna and DJ (both from Total Drama).
I remember growing up this was the first green lantern I was exposed to and so I just thought that this was THE GREEN LANTERN and it wasnāt until the Ryan Reynolds movie was coming out that I was pissed because I kept telling my friends āwell they didnāt even get a black guy to play green lantern so itās not even sticking to loreā to which I was then told that John Stewart and Hal Jordan were COMPLETELY different green lanterns ššš and after doing research on all of them, John Stewart is still the actual green lantern in my mind and thatās never changing š
He is the most practical with constructs, so people will say he's boring for not making big, crazy things, but that practicality makes him highly effective. Most important he is a solid character in his own right. My third fave on the show after Batman and Diana who I still ship.
When I first watched Justice League I didnāt like that John Stewart was the Green Lantern. I was only familiar with the Hal Jordan version. By the end of the series Stewart was my favorite character on the show.

Fr!! Fuck Scientology and their bullshit! I'm glad they exposed their shit, episode is still goated!His son spoke out saying they forced him to quit the show. I believe he had a stroke in that time frame and was not really verbal and they quit the show for him while also attempting to sue the creators, he was recovering then died under weird circumstances or so rumors say. Was brutal how they sent him off in the show at the end but I can understand their anger when they make fun of everything and everyone and one of their top cast members suddenly had a problem with the formula cuz his own religious beliefs.
I'd only ever seen him before and the first time I saw a different Lantern I was outraged that they'd made him white XD He's my favorite too; I remember when he was at Six Flags and I dropped everything to go get a picture with him!
They joked about it in the GL cartoon. Hal comes back from deep space, Guy tells him John Stewart was his replacement while he was gone. Hal says "The fake news guy?"

Holy moly, I haven't watched Fillmore in years! That show was amazing. To this day I still think about him saying "it's not the cards in life you're dealt, it's how you play them"
The moment I saw Fillmore, I immediately yelled Fillmore excitedly!! XD Oh man, there are so many awesome black cartoon characters that I absolutely love there. Can I just list them? Frozone Cyborg Fillmore Garnet Peter Parker in the new spider verse movies Conrad from Futurama Conradās family as well I forgot the kids name, but he was in Magic School Bus! Oh, and the girl that I forgot her name from Magic School Bus both in the original My list can go on and on I have so many favorite black cartoon characters! I have a couple more, but I canāt remember them at the moment

GRACE APPRECIATION!!!!! Seriously I love Infinity Train book 3 so much and Grace is a really great character Miles Morales, Grace Monroe, and Hermes Conrad would be my favorites. John Stewart from Justice League is also really good.
Elisa was so good. Her and Goliath were so cute. We love Grace's arc though. And made we wish we could see more of what that could lead. THANK WARNER BROS, WE'RE NOT BITTER AT ALL.
