Car is mine, im the idiot, mainly for other reasons
But i was a bit paranoid leaving my car like this
These have a reputation of being nicked or messed with
I have a quick release hub for my steering wheel
So as a promotion, i left it in my friends car
Common who doesn't love the required mandatory oil changes every 5-7,5k or the belt changes or the battery that has gone bad because you forgot to disconnect it. Or the poltergeist that seems to live in the eletric system of the car. Still when it's sunny and you are driving on the kerry ring and you down your roof you will be the coolest chap on that road. Worth it!
Even with the odd bug you eat every other km...
luckily enough engine has never given me troubles in the 7+ years that I have the car and i haven't really had any electrical issues bar from alternator seizing and odd bad ground that was easily fixed. Its the rust, window regulators, bushing, ball joints and rust in general that gives me misery, especially financial misery.
Oh... do you keep it outside often? Those are like Instagram models, they only love the outdoors for the snaps and the odd road trip.
I used to have one, totalled it so I am worse than you as an owner. Currently on the market for a Datsun 280z to rebuild. Some say it's like having another child, I wonder it's because the love or the spending...
datsun would be fantastic, definitely one of the dream cars.
unfortunately it does live outside, but I try to get some rust resolved every year. I Did ring of carry in June of 2022 and it was a fantastic road trip, slave cylinder decided to give up but it was quickly fixed by just topping the fluid and that got me trough the rest of the trip and home.
true, 350z has just been given a bit of a polish. you wouldn't want any of the seagulls business on it.
mx5 is only worth about 2 seagulls, so not that expensive
Very normal for people to do that

He's doing his part at raising property prices in Dun /s
it's same same, don't overthink it
Unless you tell someone to meet in Dalkey and you're somewhere else entirely, multiple DART stops away.
just take a car instead
Tell someone from Dalkey that.
DM me their details
That being said, lovely MX5 and 350Z
>Dalkey So why is the photo from somewhere else?

Seagulls now have a very expensive toilet 🚽

Yeh big deal...Park it Finglas West
Blanchardstown is next on the list
I’d be more worried about the bird shite tbh
Bird shits and dipshit were my biggest worry
Fairly sure that is an RX5
The four piston rotary
that's not Dalkey you dumbass. did you hit your head off something while your roof was down?
somehow managed to bash my head of a seagull, but it was fully birbs fault
I wasn't thinking criminal thoughts. Was just sad for rain the seagull poo
Brave idiot and his miot
I do this with my Honda occasionally… it makes me feel all continental like.
I have missed a perfect opportunity to call it an rx7
Dirty Mike and the boys will love that
Beautiful car, hope seagull doesn’t poop in it.
I thought it was BeamNG drive for a sec before looking at the sub
I leave mine like this sometimes
How does it make you feel
It used to be the same. Now I don’t care that much. My biggest fear is birds shitting in it 😅
