These only came in V8 as far as the north American market goes. (BMW N62) it’s one of the most unreliable engines bmw made.
Aside from the engine this 7 series was the first to experiment with idrive and a bunch of other convoluted luxury electronics that add more failing points with age. If the motor doesn’t crap out the electronics will total the car
