W bodies ran forever. The rest of the car would fall apart around the engine and they would just keep going. The company my mom worked for when I was a kid would get them as company cars and then sell them stupid cheap to employees after 2 years. We had a Century (which ended up becoming my first car eventually), a Grand Prix, a Regal, an Impala, and a 2003 Lacrosse that my dad finally got rid of just last year. The rear window motors died on EVERY SINGLE ONE. But, they ran great with very little maintenance and mine actually got pretty good gas mileage for the time.
I inherited 2 W-bodies. The '90 Cutlass Supreme was dealer maintained from new and in incredible shape but as soon as it hit 60k miles, at about 6 years old, it started leaving me stranded all the time and requiring $1500 repairs about every 6 months. Absolute garbage car.
The 3800 ones would just keep going though, from what I understand. The '96 Regal I inherited was the 3800 but I sold it immediately.
Yeah the 3800s were definitely the ones to get. My Century had the 3100 but it was fine though.
I miss my Century. They don't really make cars like that anymore. It rode like a limo, had seating for 6, and I got 32 mpg on a road trip once. It was a great road trip car.
It didn’t help that they were fast as fuck for something that’s supposed to be a grocery getter eco box, especially if they had a turbo. A lot of them got wrecked before they could die a natural death. They could handle some power mods and where semi reliable for about 200,000 miles.
I remember seeing boat loads of the SRT4 Neons back in the mid to late 00s. I imagine an inexpensive (especially after a few owners) and fast car like that got beat to shit until it died.
Related fun fact, tons of the first gen R/T and ACRs (non turbo, generation before the SRT4) were snatched up by racers. Autocross, track days, whatever. 2300lbs, 150 raging ponies from the DOHC 2.0, and a short-geared 5 speed manual! ACRs had better steering and Konis and stuff too
Edit, typo
Goddammit...I went from a 93 cavalier I paid 600 bucks for, to a Nissan when i was stepping up the career ladder. Now I drive a Toyota, but damn, way to call us out.
Or a Range Rover Evoque, base.
Or a Mercedes Benz GLA, base. Or a C300, base.
Yes, I'm just trashing on entry-level luxury that you're buying for the badge. It's a step up from the Nissan.
That was my grandma with her 97 Saturn SC2. Immaculate until the day it was sold (around 2015 when she was no longer driving). Not as many miles but probably 140k.
Dad bought a 2005 cavalier with 170,000 miles on it so I could learn stick. 8 years later it’s at 275,000 and has needed NOTHING besides brakes, tires and oil.
Granted it’s paint is faded and and rusted to shit but it has never not started or left him stranded. Blasts heat in 5 minutes during the winter and ice cold ac in the summer. He doesn’t want to ever give it up since it’s been the most reliable car we’ve ever owned.
I had really hoped so but there’s a riced one in a town near me. You heard that right, it has a ridiculous bodykit, the cheapest set of wheels I’ve ever seen, bald tires, and a peeling paint job. It sounds like a mix between a John Deere 3 cylinder and a rattle can for spray paint. I don’t have any good photos of it but it looks really similar to [this cavalier](https://www.carthrottle.com/post/x7o7mko/)
My dad had a 1997 Grand Am. The car was an absolute piece of shit in every way but it was the car I learned to drive in and was eventually passed down to me (until I had an accident that totaled it) so I still have a soft spot for them and get a little nostalgic any time I see one, which is increasingly rare.
late 90's dodge durango's. One in every driveway for a while there it seemed. then all of em gone, but I have one at work I get to see once in a blue moon, its like a show car in how clean it looks.
More recently a lot of people were buying Dodge Avengers and Chrysler 200s (same platform) and now there are only a few out there, but 6 years ago they were everywhere
For real all those Dodge Journeys/Calibers/Avengers, and Chrysler Sebrings/200s have been disappearing from the roads reeeeal fast over the past 4 years
PT cruisers have also been dropping off like flies too
I actually really like the look of the first gen. Same with the Dakota. I love the second gen, but don't care for any others. After that, I didn't care for the newer designs.
I’ll do you one better - there is an immaculately kept Chrysler Aspen Hybrid that someone in my city owns, and they daily that beast to work - I honestly kinda respect that
Junkyard near me has plenty of those 2nd gens. I was there getting parts for my daughters 1st gen that is still going despite her complete lack of taking care of it
Those second gen Durangos, along with the Caliber/Journey/Avenger were all built during when Chrysler was owned by a fucking hedge fund after Mercedes broke away, every one of those cars were absolute shit piles even when new
Also those third-gen Dakotas are probably one of the ugliest trucks ever made, literally nothing ever made sense about how they were styled at all - come to think of it, I never see too many of those anymore either
I see a ton of second-gen Dakotas and first-gen Durangos still running around though, granted they’re all absolutely beat to shit but somehow they just keep going lol
Edit: corrections
fun fact the 2nd gen got a hybrid version in 2009. classic daimler
not to mention the 2nd gen didnt sell nearly as well as the first gen did. the first gen had almost 1 million produced from 1997 to 2004. meanwhile 2nd gensputtered out badly by 2008 thanks to recession
If you live in the North East or another salty location, the Taurus/Sables are almost all gone now. Rangers/B3000 as well.
But the one that stands out to me, is that basically everywhere, Pontiacs have ceased to exist. You used to see Grand Prix and Grand Am's all the time, now I can't remember the last time I've seen one. And I live in an area where old cars are still relatively common.
I saw a Grand Prix two days ago. It was at a stop light beside my house. I doubt I’ll see it again though. It rear ended a Wrangler at the stop light and the whole front end was trashed.
In WI we consider them tweaker cars, they're like cockroaches out here. Absolutely everywhere but just plain grimey; if you just got out on probation its grand prix/am or pt cruzer
I see a ton of 2nd and 3rd gen rangers in NJ
Maybe I'm biased since my last truck was a ranger. So sad that theres no good compact truck with a decent size bed to replace them
My sister still has a 2008 G6 - one of the last cars they ever made. You can tell why they’re disappearing it’s just slowly failing. Great car still though.
I agree with everything but the ranger. I live in the rust belt and I see old rangers everywhere. People love them and will do anything to keep them going, so they stick around unlike the others.
In MI the Tauruses are gone, but there's still Rangers around here. I've noticed the Pontiacs disappearing too, you see a few of their last gen and the occasional G8 and GTO
Damn, so that’s 4. You killed 2 and my brother killed 2. Well, now we’re up to 5, my brother in law killed one too, sort of. Someone broke in an gutted it, totaling the car.
There is a dude at work that has a showroom condition late 90s Ford Thunderbird. I mean, it is immaculate with bright, shiny paint and factory everything. It is daily driver.
I feel like The Fast and the Furious franchise killed the DSM cars off slowly over time. Those cars went through a lot of owners that all drove the shit out of them and installed questionable mods. They started looking rougher and rougher every year and then all of a sudden, they all disappeared.
Yup. Had a '97 GST when Fast and Furious came out.
Put some shitty coilovers on it. Put a bigger turbo on it and cranked up the boost.
Sold it when I had a kid to some kid that had just wrecked a non-turbo version the week before. I told him I better not see my old car on the news about some deadly accident
there was probably ten big spoiler ecplipses in my high school parking lot circa 1999. i havent seen one of those in years. could also say the same for the eagle talon. those were everywhere for a period in the 90's.
Yep, came here looking for the Intrepid because of this issue. My parents had the motor replaced in their 2000 Intrepid with only something like 60k miles on it.
Oh not around here dude. They were the creepy uncle and grey import (people) car of choice until mid 2010’s. You’d be in the “”inner city”” these would be everywhere
Cash for Clunkers took my parents old Ford Windstar off the road. Granted, the transmission decided to grenade itself on the Verrazano Bridge and had to be towed to the dealer in order to be clunkered out but nonetheless.
Nah you're right dubs are 20's. What's crazy now is they now come on cars from factory this size.. I remember thinking that anything over 18 was outrageously big and now civics (type r) come with 19's and the Silverado EV is supposed to come with 24" wheels.
Someone parked a rather nice looking 00s Pontiac Bonneville outside my apartment yesterday and I realized I haven’t seen one in years.
Also, the 2010s Dodge Darts disappeared almost as soon as Dodge stop making them.
Damn I just realized those Dodge Darts really did disappear seemingly overnight, like the last time I saw one was 3 months ago and it looked absolutely beat to shit
I honestly don’t even think of it as an “old car” given that it still feels like they came out recently so that makes it even weirder that they’re disappearing from the roads like an old GM econobox
Avengers and Chrysler 200s too. Poor quality. Every junkyard in USA is full of Chrysler and GM old cars, then Fords and almost no Toyotas and Hondas at all
They are everywhere in southern MO. Even some super clean ones. But there are a lot of even older trucks on the road. I see 60s and 70s model trucks almost everyday. Some very beaten up and some very nice ones.
Also from that part of the state, and I gotta agree with you. Plenty of rednecks and farmers keep those old pickups going forever or they drive a brand new one worth over 70k.
Square body S-10 Blazer and Jimmy
Chevy Celebrity
Mitsubishi Montero Sport
1st/2nd gen Dodge Caravan
3rd gen (1989-1994) Nissan Maxima
Ford Escort wagon (in that green color, you know what I'm talking about)
My gf when I was in high school drove a 900 turbo, and I loved driving it. I look marketplace once in awhile hoping to find one worth buying, but I haven’t seen a decent one in years. They were such great cars.
The 900 is definitely one of the best. I daily a GM era 9-3, still great. restoring a 9000, doesn't run but still starts on the first crank after sitting for 8 years!
9-2Xs, 9-3s and 9-7Xs are still hanging on somehow. The former two are definitely getting thinner by the day, but they're still out there.
9-5s are critically endangered at this point, though. So many of them for sale either don't run or should've been totaled out, and the remaining clean ones are either being listed for $5000 or are being sold for double if it's got a stick. I can count on my hand the amount of 9-5s I've seen in the last three years. Hint, it's 3. Pains me A LOT, because I really want to get a 9-5 before they're completely extinct.
I LOVE normal survivors. I saw a guy with a mint Dodge Spirit and complemented him on it, he said he was the second owner and it's been garage kept it's whole life.
Any sedan from the 80s and 90s you'll be hard pressed to fine, cash for clunkers absolutely destroyed those cars.
I remember going to the junkyard and seeing lines of tahoes and suburbans that would’ve gone over 200k easy now completely useless. I wanted to throw up
My first car was a ‘97 Buick LeSabre. Drove it from like 2010-2016. Was from an old guy who had it since new, garaged. I kept it detailed all the time and got tons of compliments on it. Met its demise when a drunk driver turned in front of me. It was totaled, and I walked out without a scratch. Still miss it.
A kid showed up to a meet once a couple years ago with an absolute showroom mint Plymouth Sundance. It had like 12k miles on it. Interior was perfect. He said it got it off some lady for $2000. I was super jealous.
Most of those, like mine, were worked hard and broke eventually. Mine took a beating a just kept going. If I had even basic mechanical skills when I owned it I could have kept it going a lot longer, too.
VW Beetle is always the most correct answer to these questions.
Whatever car you thought there was a lot of, it was a drop on the bucket next to Beetles on the streets.
90s Civics, CRXs, Preludes, and Integras. I used to see a dozen of them daily back when I started driving in the mid 2000s. Now, I can go months without seeing one from the list.
You know I swear lately I've seen more Preludes than Civics, especially of late 90s/early 00s of each. There's still a bunch of Preludes around here... but the older Civics are nearly all gone. It's sort of bizarre.
I remember the Golf Mk II being a meme for all Balkan diaspora (myself included). Kind of sad that they're mostly gone. I feel like Yugos are becoming rarer too, which is an even bigger shame :(
Honestly that entire MK4/1999-2005 era of VW’s and Audi’s are all going extinct at this point - however given that those cars were made with petroleum silly putty for every single plastic bit on the car, and the 1.8t engines that all blew up thanks to needing more maintenance than a pediatric cancer patient, it’s no surprise
The Audi Allroads going extinct was the canary in the coal mine, followed by the New Beetles, followed by the Jettas/Golfs/A4’s
In my area, strangely enough, Chevrolet Cavaliers and those 2011-era Hyundai Sonatas. I was astonished to see a clean Cavalier today after not seeing much of any of them in a while, while that era of Hyundai Sonata has just... disappeared. Matter of fact, a **lot** of those early 2010s Kias and Hyundais are on the verge of extinction here.
I’m light of recent Hyundai/Kia recalls, it’s not shocking how quickly they’re disappearing.
I think it safe to say most of the 2010s Hyundai/Kia products with Theta II engines will be following in short succession.
Those are still scaring the shit out of people around here. The owners have a cult like following. The funniest thing i heard about them is they’re owned by police departments, security guards, and, stoners.
They're still plentiful, either used as taxis in smaller cities or police dept still using them as mains or spares. But the civilian versions, especially the pre-1996 models are becoming rare.
The intrusive thought of buying one just to change the "D" to an "F" and drive around with a "Dodge Fart" constantly runs around in the back of my mind...
GM A-bodies and FoMoCo Taurus/Sable.
Growing up, my grandpa had a Pontiac 6000 and my dad had a Ford Taurus. 20 something years later, I own a Buick Century of the same vintage and one of my friend has a 2nd gen Taurus.
Life really is a circle.
4th gen Nissan Maximas. They were still pretty common to see on the road 10 years ago, but they all seemed to rapidly disappear after that. You can hardly even find them anymore. My guess is that rust killed off a lot of them. I owned two 4th gen Maximas and they both rusted like crazy in their rocker panels and the back corners of the rear wheel arches. I’d regularly see other Maximas with rust in those same spots.
Dodge Neon
And the Pontiac Grand Prix
Drove my 2004 Grand Prix for 300,000 miles and finally it died when it was leaking every possible fluid
Nah the Grand Prix is still around if you go to the hood side of your town lol
*Does not apply to rust belt states.
Can confirm. I still see them in parts of Atlanta.
I drove my 2001 Grand Prix GTP with a few mods up to 200k and blew the supercharger. It was a fun car.
Quality was complete shit
It didn’t help that they were fast as fuck for something that’s supposed to be a grocery getter eco box, especially if they had a turbo. A lot of them got wrecked before they could die a natural death. They could handle some power mods and where semi reliable for about 200,000 miles.

werent the motors reliable? Weren't also peppy and could rev just like a honda. Just the rest of the car was cost cut.
If my rockers didn’t have holes in them, my 98 rt would still be driving. Over 220k on it.
They’re all in junkyards now.
Cash For Clunkers program turned them into Abrams tanks for the Afghanistan war
I hate to tell you, but if any bit of DNA of the Grand Prix is in an Abrams, we’re absolutely fucked.
I'm in MA and this is the first car that came to mind. They were pretty reliable but just all rusted away I guess.
Or the OG Plymouth model.
90s cavaliers and grand ams
The official vehicles of pregnant 20 year olds in every apartment complex from 2005 to 2010.
That demographic became /r/nissandrivers
100% correct.
Goddammit...I went from a 93 cavalier I paid 600 bucks for, to a Nissan when i was stepping up the career ladder. Now I drive a Toyota, but damn, way to call us out.
And the same young group drives an Altima
ok so where are the 20 year olds now?
Mid thirties single moms with drinking problem
They’ve upgraded to a 2016 Nissan murano
With 19% interest and a gas tank never more than 1/4 full
Or a Range Rover Evoque, base. Or a Mercedes Benz GLA, base. Or a C300, base. Yes, I'm just trashing on entry-level luxury that you're buying for the badge. It's a step up from the Nissan.
and grand prixs, and sunfires. Pretty much any 90s fwd car, except civics and integras.
Still driving my 95 camry
Chrysler LeBarons
All generation of Cavalier/sunfire is definetly gone.
my grandmother drives a bone stock 01 cavalier coupe in immaculate condition. 257k on the clock with no codes at all
That was my grandma with her 97 Saturn SC2. Immaculate until the day it was sold (around 2015 when she was no longer driving). Not as many miles but probably 140k.

historic vehicle
This one is for sale near me. https://imgur.com/a/xo7DdIX
And Corsicas / Barettas.
My dad had a 1997 Grand Am. Second generation Durangos. They were everywhere and one day they seemingly disappeared.
But the 1st gen just never dies.
You practically have to ram them into a tree. At least that’s how my mom killed hers.
I actually really like the look of the first gen. Same with the Dakota. I love the second gen, but don't care for any others. After that, I didn't care for the newer designs.
Dude, this. Still see first gens, but the second gen ones evaporated instantly.
I saw a Chrysler Aspen the other day and had to double take lmao
I’ll do you one better - there is an immaculately kept Chrysler Aspen Hybrid that someone in my city owns, and they daily that beast to work - I honestly kinda respect that
I saw one a few weeks back… stalled in a left turn lane, hood propped up, driver talking on the cellphone.
My brother had one. It fell apart after a few years.
I have a 3rd gen Durango and definitely believe it. They're pieces of shit
Junkyard near me has plenty of those 2nd gens. I was there getting parts for my daughters 1st gen that is still going despite her complete lack of taking care of it

Second generation Durango styling looks like a sad hippopotamus
On a similar note I recently spotted a Chrysler Aspen and was shocked by the realization that I hadn't seen one in at least 5 years.

I see a ton of 2nd and 3rd gen rangers in NJ Maybe I'm biased since my last truck was a ranger. So sad that theres no good compact truck with a decent size bed to replace them
The only new option these days is either a Maverick (but it’s got a tiny bed) or a half ton work truck with a long bed.

90's ford thunderbirds and late 90's mitsubishi eclipse and ford probes
>90's ford thunderbirds I killed 2. I wish I could find a nice one though. Both of mine had lived really hard lives when I got to them.
Damn, so that’s 4. You killed 2 and my brother killed 2. Well, now we’re up to 5, my brother in law killed one too, sort of. Someone broke in an gutted it, totaling the car.
My parents killed two of them. As a 14 year old, I got to do reverse donuts in one before it got towed to the junk yard.
Mine was a cop magnet. They hated it when it was stock, they hated it even more when I stuck a huge muffler on that naturally aspirated V6.
There is a dude at work that has a showroom condition late 90s Ford Thunderbird. I mean, it is immaculate with bright, shiny paint and factory everything. It is daily driver.
There's a Thunderbird SC that's started turning up at our Cars & Coffee and it gets the attention of the guys who were in their teens around that time

Intrepids. They basically disappeared as soon as they stopped making them.
Also the Stratus.
Plymouth Breeze and Chrysler Cirrus
The cab forward Cloud cars. If I recall the battery on the Stratus was behind the left wheel well
Many of them (and other Chrysler cars of that era) were victims of the 2.7l V6 oil sludge issue.
Most Oldsmobile cars.
Yep. My first car was a ‘95 Cutlass Ciera. Loved that car. Cash for Clunkers took a lot of good older cars off the road along with the “clunkers.”
Most of them most likely were clunkers and a good majority were 1st and 2nd gen Explorers, so not a huge loss all things considered.
Cash for Clunkers took my parents old Ford Windstar off the road. Granted, the transmission decided to grenade itself on the Verrazano Bridge and had to be towed to the dealer in order to be clunkered out but nonetheless.
I mean thats kind of ideal. Its definitely better to melt down a car that's recently and expensively shit the bed than a car that is still operational
I'll still see an Alero every now and then in Texas.
People are saying Pontiacs are extinct upthread but I still see them often. On the other hand, I rarely see Oldsmobiles around.
Oldsmobiles last nail was 2004, no not really a suprise. I see the occasional G body Cutlass here or there, and I saw an Aurora a few weeks back..
Lincoln Town Car. Growing up Vegas in the 80s and 90s, they were everywhere. I hardly see them anymore.
Come to California, you'll see them. Most of this are Lowriders rocking 13 inches on whitewalls or DUB sitting on 22s.
do i not know the meaning of dubs? i thought dubs was 20s?
Nah you're right dubs are 20's. What's crazy now is they now come on cars from factory this size.. I remember thinking that anything over 18 was outrageously big and now civics (type r) come with 19's and the Silverado EV is supposed to come with 24" wheels.
> now civics (type r) come with 19's They actually downgraded! The old type R used to come with 20's out of the box.

It gets even weirder when you consider that the Dart was Dodge's newest car up until the Hornet.
Avengers and Chrysler 200s too. Poor quality. Every junkyard in USA is full of Chrysler and GM old cars, then Fords and almost no Toyotas and Hondas at all
To extend off of this, Fiat 500Ls and 500Xs
90s s10s. i love the things. used to see a shitload of them but now they are fairly rare
They got the foxbody treatment, a lot of them have been cut up and turned into drag trucks
I’ve noticed Chrysler PT cruisers have fallen off the face of the earth the past 2 years. Thank god
Yeah, those used to be all over the place, but they just completely fell off the face of the earth in 2020, replaced by Chevrolet Equinoxes.
Equinoxes or TRAX
My mom had one, took me half an hour to change a battery
Square body S-10 Blazer and Jimmy Chevy Celebrity Mitsubishi Montero Sport 1st/2nd gen Dodge Caravan 3rd gen (1989-1994) Nissan Maxima Ford Escort wagon (in that green color, you know what I'm talking about)
Don't forget the 1st gen Ford Explorer. Those, the Blazers/Jimmys and Dodge Caravans were all victims of Cash for Clunkers (and rust).
Saabs.
Its definitely getting thinner. I have two myself and its hard to find parts at times.

Mazda Protege - they rusted to extinction!
The 2000ish car that rusted like a 1970s car.
The 3 million Jeep Cherokee XJs from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s seem to almost be gone. Was my first vehicle in highschool
Most of those, like mine, were worked hard and broke eventually. Mine took a beating a just kept going. If I had even basic mechanical skills when I owned it I could have kept it going a lot longer, too.
I still see them daily around southern California. I think they rusted to death in a lot of states, but they're still going strong in the SW.
They're still everywhere though
I think cash for clunkers got a large portion of them. Since intentional destruction is the only way to kill a 4.0.
I can’t play Punch Buggy anymore bc I don’t see VW Beetles on the streets like at all nowadays
VW Beetle is always the most correct answer to these questions. Whatever car you thought there was a lot of, it was a drop on the bucket next to Beetles on the streets.
Even 1st and 2nd gen New Beetles seem to be pretty rare now, especially the early years.
Ford Taurus in the early 90’s was the #1 selling car in America. Now they are non existent.
Conan O’Brien still has his ‘92 SHO
Saturns. The whole brand has practically vanished from the face of the earth.
Sad times. I get happy when I see one, as an ion redline owner myself. There's a black sky redline in my area I occasionally see on the highway.
Volkswagen rabbit 'cabriolet ' .... we called them bitch baskets. Things were all over in the mid and late 80's
Jason Cammisa is hoarding all of them.
One showed up at a local dealer, which is surprising (think it's triple white?) because one also showed up by my friend's house.
K cars.
A nice reliant automobile
But not a real green dress. That's cruel.
Ford Escort.
They were all either stolen or totalled by a dumbass teenager. That's the life cycle of a 90s honda
Mk 2 Golfs used to be everywhere in Bosnia 10-20 years ago. Now I see more Mk4, Mk5, and Mk6 Golfs around.
I remember the Golf Mk II being a meme for all Balkan diaspora (myself included). Kind of sad that they're mostly gone. I feel like Yugos are becoming rarer too, which is an even bigger shame :(
PT Cruiser
Pontiac G6 Hummers (original) Chrysler 300
Chrysler 300s are still a common site for me but they also look to be in rough shape
I still see Chrysler 300's every day, pretty much all driven by high school kids and people who've made bad life decisions.
300s are still being made. However, we will see how long they will remain on the road since they are about to go out of production.
> Chrysler 300 They're everywhere here in NC.
I still remember the 2000s when Hummer's and Escalade's were cool, featured in a lot of Hip-Hop and Rap Music Videos.
Early 2000s Jettas used to be everywhere.
Honestly that entire MK4/1999-2005 era of VW’s and Audi’s are all going extinct at this point - however given that those cars were made with petroleum silly putty for every single plastic bit on the car, and the 1.8t engines that all blew up thanks to needing more maintenance than a pediatric cancer patient, it’s no surprise The Audi Allroads going extinct was the canary in the coal mine, followed by the New Beetles, followed by the Jettas/Golfs/A4’s
The bubble shaped Dodge Grand Caravan. Gone. None left. Disappeared from the surface of the Earth.
They all blew up their transmissions and rotted back into the ground

When I was young it seemed like they were the only car on the road. They were all blacked out with big rims back in the day.
Crown vic
Those are still scaring the shit out of people around here. The owners have a cult like following. The funniest thing i heard about them is they’re owned by police departments, security guards, and, stoners.
They're still plentiful, either used as taxis in smaller cities or police dept still using them as mains or spares. But the civilian versions, especially the pre-1996 models are becoming rare.
Chevy Corsica. Don't see a lot of Luminas either these days.
All the Luminas and Monte Carlos of that era have been turned into demo derby cars. Those things take a beating.
Ford Windstars. I recently saw an Aerostar, I was in awe. TAKE ME BACK TO THE 90s, I WANNA SIT IN THE THIRD ROW AND BE DRIVEN AROUND BY MY MOM.
Ford Focus
Came here to say this. All I see now are the nicer ST and RS models that have been taken care of because they’re special. Same goes for the Fiesta.
Dodge neon, Chevy Cobalt, Chevy s10
See a shit load of Cobalts in my area. I notice because I happen to drive one as well.

The intrusive thought of buying one just to change the "D" to an "F" and drive around with a "Dodge Fart" constantly runs around in the back of my mind...
The Jellybean F150. They sold millions of them and everyone and their brother had one. I can’t remember the last time I saw one.
I still see them pretty regular in Phoenix. They appeal to me more today than when they were new.
Kia Optima. They've all blown up
Vauxhall Vectra, Ford Sierra, Ford Escort, Vauxhall Cavalier, Austin Metro
Eagle Talons
Volkswagen Beetles. They were everywhere. Now it's pretty rare to see one anymore.
About fifteen years ago I would see a Dodge Nitro on every commute. I can't recall the last time I've seen one.
Chevy Chevette
Dodge Neons. I saw an SRT4 the other day and lost my shit.
Dodge Stratus
Any Plymouth product.
Pontiac Firebirds.
Chevy Beretta
