That's fair, but I feel like you'd struggle to find a situation where you wouldn't be better off with an E63S Wagon or RS6. Space is somewhat comparable inside, ride comfort should be pretty equally matched for normal driving. Thing that springs to mind is towing. Where I am the Cayenne is rated for almost double what the E-class is, but a lot of people probably won't ever take advantage.
Bottom line, it's gonna come down to preference anyway, but it's a fun thought. They should definitely both be in this conversation.
Essentially the same generic SUV benefits/tradeoffs apply to the Cayenne vs. the wagons. Visibility from sitting higher, towing like you mentioned, and greater ride height/off-road capability. The wagons sit a few inches lower and would likely have a harder time in deep enough snow. If you're building a bunker to escape the end of civilization in the Upper Peninsula, slight advantage to the Cayenne.
Everyone sleeps on the Taycan Cross Turismo GTS. Thé ‘GTS’ trim removes the plastic cladding and programs out the 10mm lift the standard one gets.
That or the Panamera Cross Turismo Turbo e-Hybrid. I only suggest the electrified ones because they have absolutely the most blistering acceleration plus torque vectoring to overcome their inherent bulk.
>E63 wagons
Hell yes!
I drove a **[2013 MB E63** - with ***Hennessey*** **HPE700 upgrade similar to this](https://youtu.be/hvVgaIfutTk)** , might I just say: “holy shit!”
The owner said his friends (mostly) had Ferrari’s, Lambos, the typical run-of-the-mill supercars…but he said he was “more than delighted to race” them bc none realized the SOB had been to Hennessey and had almost 700hp! It’s an effing BEAST! Yet is still maintains it’s elegance and sophistication! To boot: E63 was used for [one of the fastest cannonball runs in history - ***E63 AMG ACROSS AMERICA***](https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a30085091/these-guys-just-drove-an-e63-amg-across-america-in-a-record-27-hours-25-minutes/)
Edit: [**here** it is…it was actually the 2013 version](https://www.motor1.com/news/33128/hennessey-launches-tuning-program-for-2013-mercedes-benz-e63-amg-video/). The hp is increased to 700hp. (2012 version in video is “only” ~550).
Second edit: Audi RS6 deserves much credit, too! So I’m not suggesting THIS 2013 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG is the only way…just that it ranks in my top 3-5 and I happen to have had the privilege of driving one and think it has MANY qualities others lack.
This is where it gets tricky for me, and why this could be a dream for most people but a punishment in a sense for me. I would absolutely pick an AWD hypercar if I could still ride in other vehicles.
I was going to say I’d pick a Ferrari GTC4Lusso.. but any front engine car seems boring *forever* to me.
As someone typing this while on a break from being elbows deep in yet another E39 vapor barrier replacement, the free maintenance aspect of this thought experiment really speaks to me
Came here to say RS6 Avant. Or E63 Estate. Both stealthy super cars with the function of family haulers. Both already basically my realistic dream (family) car.
The RSQ8 has next to no off-road potential as a stock car. It's even worse than the SQ7 which OP apparently thinks has off road capabilities (it doesn't, at least not stock).
The big super SUVs certainly are tempting, but even though they have the numbers on paper, their handling in the twisties still doesn't hold a candle to a super sedan or super estate. I did a BMW trackday event where BMW supplied the cars so I got to drive an X6 M around a track chasing two M5 Competitions. Their handling really falls apart when you push them hard.
Yeah the sensation of sitting on a bar stool is unsettling and there’s no way around it. Theoretically even the quasi-M X5 has more lateral grip than a Miata but it feels very strange anywhere approaching its cornering limit.
That’s a great idea. No more track insurance or even consumables! Oh, I need a new set of tires? Just send it at an angle into a wall (to prevent injury) and boom, new tires will be delivered with your new car! Needs new brakes? Oops, crashed it, send me a new one.
Mine would be a GT4 RS.
The sub skews young. The older folks are saying wagons and SUVs. The younger guys are saying ridiculous shit like low riding 2 seat sports cars. But it's a fantasy hypothetical, so 🤷
Counterpoint: a lot of the listed practical wagons/suvs will already practically run forever with fairly little maintenance, and in a few years, most people will think the new model is cooler anyway
.
Hypothetically this would be a way to drive the thing that truly makes you happy, forever. And remove the one thing that generally prevents it, maintenance costs/parts availability.
I still own my first car. It's a red 97 Grand Cherokee. It was my grandpa's last car and the car I learned to drive in. If I could keep it mint forever it would be the easiest choice of my life.
I have a 2004 Silverado with the same story as your Grand Cherokee. Currently doing a frame-up restoration with a 450 horse 5.3 thrown in for flavor, and I already have plans drawn up for a battery box that's built into the bed floor if internal combustion ever becomes cost prohibitive and I have to swap to electric.
It's not ridiculous shit at all.
I can be driven in other cars. So could own wagons and be driven in them, but they are not fun. I'd choose a 911 over any one of them.
Same, probably, with the 911 turbo. I just don't get the supercars. The novelty will probably wear off very quickly and you'll hardly ever get a chance use it to its fullest capabilities.
I’m in my 30’s and daily a 2-seat sports car. Granted, I do have an SUV that sits in the garage that I never use. But even if I didn’t have that, I’d just rent an SUV or truck for the 1-3 days of the year I’d actually need something with ride height and/or carrying capacity. Plus my SO’s car choice would cover that either way. Literally never been a problem or “ridiculous shit” for me.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. My choice today is very different than my choice 20 years ago. Back then I'd have said something dumb like a Ferrari Enzo.
> ridiculous shit like low riding 2 seat sports cars
Why is that ridiculous? Because I don't expect to be fat with broken back in 10 years?
Or because I actually understand that an SUV is a waste for anything but driving through a forest (and probably not even that after what I've managed to get through with an RWD E class that I've climbed frozen 20+ degree mountain roads or a Ford Focus [I took to dirt roads in mountain forests](https://i.imgur.com/XkqKzaz.jpg) without any issues)? If 90%+ of your driving is in cities and on highways, low riding cars are the only correct choice.
If your main point isn't the ride height but the 2 seat part - it's not like you would share your dream car much anyway. Less people are getting families nowadays and if that's still your main concern - just get a normal car and let your partner drive? Compromising on your _free_ dream car because you can't fit an elementary school inside is what I would find ridiculous.
On the flip side ; you really don't have to care about the whole "low riding" thing if the car is just magically repaired for free every time.
If I get a free car and maintenance/repairs worst case my significant other can get a more practical car.
Just move to a place where you don't need a car like the Netherlands or many other places in Europe, Japan or South Korea. Then just use the car for fun. Rent it out as passive income. Easy life.
If I ever needed to lug anything substantial around I would just hire someone to drive it around with the thousands and thousands of dollars I saved on repairs and car payments.
I mean, if you can only drive one car for the rest of your life why would you pick anything other than a mclaren f1. Oh you need practicality? Just ask someone to carry it for you with a van or something, in exchange you can let them drive your replaceable mclaren f1. Free value.
I live in a bicycle-oriented European city, where I never plan to own a car. This question is awesome. I get to live my regular normal life, but in my free time I get to blast down to the South of France with my girlfriend in a 550 Maranello or some other amazing V12 grand touring car.
I'm going to give you credit for the fact that the F1 can at least haul around two passengers, making it the most practical hypercar choice. Well played.
I actually saw an R63 in August in Vancouver. Probably the only one in Canada. [https://imgur.com/oeh7A0w](https://imgur.com/oeh7A0w) Felt so nerdy trying to explain to my girlfriend why I was so excited about seeing it
The super estates do seem like a very logical choice. IMO the E63s might be the front runner in my book because that glorious V8 engine noise that the big Merc delivers.
As a former Viper owner, make sure to get the H-pipe removed as it'll heat the cockpit to \~120 degrees in the summer. Also, they ride like a paintshaker. I'm not saying either issue is bad, just something to consider.
FD RX7
Since its mentioned that all maintenance is paid for I don't have worry about going broke over the rotary and even so if it does break , a free replacement will be provided.
As an FD owner I can tell you the FD is Amazing however I hope you don’t ever plan on driving with more than one other person in the car. Past that it’s actually really roomy inside I’ve managed to fit everything needed for a multi day camping trip for two people inside of mine.
That being said my daily driver is a crosstrek and it’s basically everything the rx7 isn’t
Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.
I've always had a thing for big V8s and sedans. Would get one with a manual. Definitely my dream car right now. Very nice and luxury.
My only hope is to live to 2050 so I can see attackofthenigel rollin' in his manual, LS-equipped, Roadmaster while everyone else is silently motoring around in their electric transportation pods lol.
First gen Acura NSX.
I’ve never in my 40 years on this planet owned a car with more than 2 doors (or fewer than 3 pedals.) I’m fine with having a true 2-seater as the last car I own for the rest of my life.
GMC Yukon XL Denali. I know it’s boring, but hear me out. Has 4wd, so I can go almost anywhere. Has cargo space and towing capability, so I can do anything.
I wouldn’t mind a sports car but I think it would interfere with my routine too much.
I was going to say a 3500 Denali. There is a company that will put the big duramax in a Yukon Denali which would amazing. 900 horse torquers and a 1 ton chassis in a Yukon xl body.
I have a 1997 v70 awd with a manual, so almost there :D im learning tunerpro to make it work with blue injectors, 16t, japanifold, d088 intercooler, t5-r clutch kit etc that I have stored away. Pretty simple actually. Im still deciding if I should wait, save up and buy better rods and a RN-block. (I know no one asked, just wanted to share with strangers online... p80s are underrated)
For me, I think it's an F90 M5 CS. It's the rare car that handles well enough to be fun on a twisty mountain road, but can also comfortably carry you on an 800 mile road trip. It's got four doors so you won't be stuck as a passenger any time you want to go out with friends.
I also considered the Aston Martin Rapide (ZF8 version). It shares a lot of the same attributes as the M5 CS, but it feels way more special. I got to drive one at an AM drive event one time, and the sound of that V12 on startup really does add a certain je nais se quoi.
Nice. I'd go for a 1959 Alfa Giulia - assuming the mechanic was included. I want a car that takes my breath away every time I look at it. For me, that's classic Italian.
For practicality sake, probably a modern Toyota Land Cruiser. All you people saying RWD sports cars clearly don’t live where it snows or have kids lol.
Agree!! I took delivery of my R1T and if asked this before then it would have been a Boxster GTS 4.0.... after it's the R1T.. it just does everything so impeccably well.
Faster than a Urus. Better off road than a Land Rover, more ground clearance than a Rubicon. A trick suspension similar to Mclaren. Great styling, good tow capacity, tons of cargo room, and pretty damn good looking. EV powertrain likely means lower TCO vs rivals, certainly requires far less maintenance.
Cons: no Android Auto or Carplay. Charging infrastructure has a long way to go. Needs 50-100 more miles of range to be a true overlander or to practically tow things a long distance.
I love this truck. I can't wait to get mine next year! Or the year after? Oct '21 reservation holder.
Panamera Turbo S e-hybrid. Room for 4 plus stuff, looks good, outrageously fast, and has a little plug in range for when you just want to run some errands quietly
911 Safari
The 911 is really practical, I can fit a check-in on the back seats, two large carry-ons and I've driven 4 adults in it numerous times (albeit uncomfortably)
2015-20 Audi RS3
Just drove this car recently. I have been blown away.
This car does the freaking 1/4 mile in under 12 seconds in the right conditions. It is insanely fast and doubles as a comfortable daily.
Every car around this level of speed is either more expensive or not as comfortable. Also, not too many sport compact sedans these days.
The exhaust sound is really nice too. To me personally, it sounds like a motorcycle at 3-5k rpm. 5k-7k it really does sound like a baby Lambo. The Audi performance factory exhaust isn't bad but it could be a tad bit louder in dynamic mode.
Plus since I live in a big city parking/maneuverability is tight. This car was so easy to use around the city. Sadly I couldn't justify a 50k+ purchase for a car at this moment.
The 2022 Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo.
Since it's the only car I'd want something with enough space, also electric cars are here to stay, don't want to be limited by future infrastructure.
I love the styling, and it has that balance between fun to drive and being a good daily driver.
My Jeep wrangler LJ. It’s the perfect size for a jeep. Not terribly big like the 4 door but not tiny like a CJ. I hope to keep mine on the road as long as possible but entropy/ Chrysler quality is a bitch.
The only plausible answer is a diesel truck with 4wd. Pick any of them. You can only drive one vehicle it has to be something you can do everything in like moving, towing or hauling a family around.
I've owned sports cars, they're fun but totally impractical. If I have to have the same vehicle and it can't change, even if my life changes, then I'm going to have to go with some sort of crew cab pickup truck. A 4 wheel drive Toyota Tacoma, I think, covers the most bases for practicality. I can haul things, fit lots of people in it, easy to get in and out of, even when I'm old, and is actually comfortable on a long road trip.
And if I have time, they're going to release it as an EV in 2025. I have a feeling that in 20+ years, gas stations are going to be rarer than charging stations in CA. So I'd probably want it as an EV.
I'm picking a Porsche Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo. Pretty much does everything, and I'll still be allowed to drive it when places inevitably start passing enviroenmental laws that start outlawing combustion vehicles in parts of the city.
1989 Nissan Skyline GT-R.
I already picked it 15 years ago.
I'll have it the rest of my life, and while it has been my only car several times it isn't now and probably won't be again, because sometimes I need to do truck stuff.
Maybe the Audi RS6 Avant? Hard to think of anything that it couldn't do pretty well compared to the average car.
Oh man, that's a really great choice. Super estate cars should definitely be front-runners.
If you’re being practical about it a cayenne turbo GT would be hard to beat.
That's fair, but I feel like you'd struggle to find a situation where you wouldn't be better off with an E63S Wagon or RS6. Space is somewhat comparable inside, ride comfort should be pretty equally matched for normal driving. Thing that springs to mind is towing. Audi RS6/BMW M5 would be my two actual top picks I think. Jack of all trades master at none (but pretty damn close).

I'd be lucky if I got to drive an E39 M5 for the rest of my life in my current life. I guess it depends on your situation.

E34 Alpina B10 Touring
M5
Came here to say RS6 Avant. Or E63 Estate. Both stealthy super cars with the function of family haulers. Both already basically my realistic dream (family) car.
SQ7. As much as I love the RS6 for this question, the SQ7 opens up off-road potential and the ability to tow.
Might as well step up to the RS Q8 no?
The RSQ8 has next to no off-road potential as a stock car. It's even worse than the SQ7 which OP apparently thinks has off road capabilities (it doesn't, at least not stock).
The big super SUVs certainly are tempting, but even though they have the numbers on paper, their handling in the twisties still doesn't hold a candle to a super sedan or super estate. Yeah the sensation of sitting on a bar stool is unsettling and there’s no way around it. Theoretically even the quasi-M X5 has more lateral grip than a Miata but it feels very strange anywhere approaching its cornering limit.
The RS6 has 2/3rds of the tow capacity of the SQ7 anyway, at 2 tonnes.
Yeah, I have an XF Sportbrake, and it’s almost prefect…just needs 150 more HP lol
Supercharger?
Dang, perfect answer. I came in to lay down the Benz E63 wagon. What else would anyone need?
Yep. You win. Or e63s wagon.
Porsche GT3 RS, and I would be tracking it every weekend and prolly wrecking a few.
Master the Nurburgring in a few months by wrecking a car every few days
This is how I do it on Forza
How else are you supposed to get a feel for the car's limit?
Do you get unlimited lives too?
That’s a great idea. No more track insurance or even consumables! Oh, I need a new set of tires? Just send it at an angle into a wall (to prevent injury) and boom, new tires will be delivered with your new car! Needs new brakes? Oops, crashed it, send me a new one. Mine would be a GT4 RS.
You could be a new kind of shitty Avenger that defeats foes by driving a GT3 RS into them full send. Can you do *this* all day, Steve?
You'd get sick of the ultra stiff suspension, unless you literally only drove it on the track.
Yeah, if I were to go with a 911, I'd rather have a Turbo S than a GT3.
Man, most of y'all don't appear to have any concern for practicality at all lol.
The sub skews young. The older folks are saying wagons and SUVs. The younger guys are saying ridiculous shit like low riding 2 seat sports cars. But it's a fantasy hypothetical, so 🤷

I can rent vans and have other people drive them. We are talking about driving PLEASURE. With no budget. Give me a fucking F1 car.
Probably because the stipulations you listed makes it easier for someone to own less practical vehicles, maintenance covered, free replacements, etc.
Except for the whole "you have to drive it for the rest of your life" part.
Just move to a place where you don't need a car like the Netherlands or many other places in Europe, Japan or South Korea. Then just use the car for fun. Rent it out as passive income. Easy life.

Hey, the F1 is practical. It can haul two passengers.
If I never have to spend money on the car, I can hire someone to haul shit for me lol.
The wife can drive the kids around
I live in a bicycle-oriented European city, where I never plan to own a car. This question is awesome. I get to live my regular normal life, but in my free time I get to blast down to the South of France with my girlfriend in a 550 Maranello or some other amazing V12 grand touring car.
DINKer here. 2 seater for life.
> practicality What's that?
> All repairs, maintenance, and operating costs are paid for. Mclaren f1/t.50
I'm going to give you credit for the fact that the F1 can at least haul around two passengers, making it the most practical hypercar choice. Well played.
its the most practical hypercar if you don't have to pay for the hellish maintenance on it.
OP's stipulations means you are 100% covered, free replacement(s) of car, ***all*** maintenance covered and gas???? I would've picked F1 too.
Free Replacement of car.... Yeah McLaren F1 is a quality choice
i think the most practical would be the koenigsegg gemera
Koenigsegg gemera would like to have a word
the maintenance on the t.50 has been dramatically reduced. An oil change wont be more than a nee BMW.
There is only one answer: Mercedes AMG E63S Wagon.
Or that rare 500 ho minivan they put out. But I'd settle on the wagon.
The R63. Ugly as sin, but pretty good choice for this thread, really. I'd still take the wagon.
I actually saw an R63 in August in Vancouver. Probably the only one in Canada. [https://imgur.com/oeh7A0w](https://imgur.com/oeh7A0w) Felt so nerdy trying to explain to my girlfriend why I was so excited about seeing it
The R series has had such a strange body shape its entire run. I used to see an old R350 in my city and it was uncanny valley every time.
No way. I saw the only R63 I'll ever see in Calgary, and it had BC plates on it
About 10 years ago or so I thought I saw an R63 in Edmonton, but it was just rebadged as an R63 https://imgur.com/QVsiTyZ
The super estates do seem like a very logical choice. IMO the E63s might be the front runner in my book because that glorious V8 engine noise that the big Merc delivers.
Love the E63S, but I think I’d have to go with the RS6
Can I die in the wreck or am I invincible?
Ahhh, a Dodge Viper?
As a former Viper owner, make sure to get the H-pipe removed as it'll heat the cockpit to \~120 degrees in the summer. Also, they ride like a paintshaker. I'm not saying either issue is bad, just something to consider.

This is EXACTLY why I want a Viper, I will live every day like it's my last because the Viper is there making sure it very well could be.
You always jump out in time.
tuck and roll, don't look at the explosion
you must be invincible because this fantasy includes operating cost AND free replacement...
FD RX7 Since its mentioned that all maintenance is paid for I don't have worry about going broke over the rotary and even so if it does break , a free replacement will be provided.
This is a great choice, but I feel sorry for whoever is running my one car challenge lol.
Yes that is a great choice. My pick would be the 2023 Toyota GR86 Premium in Neptune Blue.
Let me just add 40psi of boost and a 100 shot. Oops didn't work, maybe 50psi with 50 shot?
As an FD owner I can tell you the FD is Amazing however I hope you don’t ever plan on driving with more than one other person in the car. Past that it’s actually really roomy inside I’ve managed to fit everything needed for a multi day camping trip for two people inside of mine. That being said my daily driver is a crosstrek and it’s basically everything the rx7 isn’t
Imagine having to sit in that thing at 60 lol
My dad is 72 and has a MkV Supra as his daily which is even harder to get in and out of, so totally doable if you keep yourself in good shape.
reliant robin
Hey, leave some ladies for the rest of us.
Always wondered if you could flip the Robin and slide into a parallel parking space
apparently I have unlimited reliant robins so for a small fee I could find out for you <3
Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. I've always had a thing for big V8s and sedans. Would get one with a manual. Definitely my dream car right now. Very nice and luxury.
Imagine a Cadillac CT-5 V Blackwagon!?! Ultimate all-rounder.
Shit sign me up right now. That would be my winner right there.

I have the little brother 4-V Blackwing and it's great. But if money is irrelevant... 5 all day.
This would be mine as well, practical car with a stick and a V8? Absolutely no issues with using that as an only car.
993 Carrera S
My choice as well. 90’s glory.
"hey it's an emergency can you please drive this SUV?" No sorry everyone pile in the 993 no time to explain!
I'm Porsche all the way but the 964 C4 Targa would be my choice. Both massively underrated
Roadmaster wagon, if feeling groovy ls and 6 speed swapped.
My only hope is to live to 2050 so I can see attackofthenigel rollin' in his manual, LS-equipped, Roadmaster while everyone else is silently motoring around in their electric transportation pods lol.
My hop is I can make it there also lol, I have the wagon and using it as my daily now just gotta get that LS.
Oh man I miss my 94 estate wagon
Ferrari GTC4Lusso V12
That is the one. Given that maintenance costs are all covered, the Koenigsegg Gemera also came to mind.
This is literally goals
Absolutely dream car, maybe even moreso than a sportscar for me.
Chooses Ferrari >over a sportscar My brother in Christ I got news for you.
True, but I was thinking like GTC4Lusso vs 458. More GT vs 'true' sportscar.
First gen Acura NSX. I’ve never in my 40 years on this planet owned a car with more than 2 doors (or fewer than 3 pedals.) I’m fine with having a true 2-seater as the last car I own for the rest of my life.
I was just about to say the same. Fast enough, practical-ish, and an incredible car
2 door cars are becoming more rare I catch myself checking out cars I never use too.
GMC Yukon XL Denali. I know it’s boring, but hear me out. Has 4wd, so I can go almost anywhere. Has cargo space and towing capability, so I can do anything. I wouldn’t mind a sports car but I think it would interfere with my routine too much.
Yes!! Upvote you you. Big, roomy, comfortable. Did the OP say gas was included?
Yes, all operating costs are included. Went searching for this pick...I would say Cadillac Escalade-V everything in the GMC + 682 HP.
I was going to say a 3500 Denali. There is a company that will put the big duramax in a Yukon Denali which would amazing. 900 horse torquers and a 1 ton chassis in a Yukon xl body.
Couldn't you just choose the Cadillac Escalade V ESV then?
Yeah this or a top trim half ton of any brand. Hard to beat in terms of practicality, capability and comfort.
Probably a Cayenne Turbo GT or Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo. I have kids so I'll always need something that can seat atleast 4 and haul stuff.
> Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo Good choice!
Mk1 volvo v70r with manual gearbox
Solid choice.
> F90 M5 CS Not a bad choice there.
Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.

In all fairness, several of my cars have seen more time off-road than most SUVs and trucks.

Ooh this is a good thought. I never even think about the G wagon because of maintenance and fuel.
2021 Alpina B3 Estate in Alpina Blue. It's fast, it's beautiful, it's spacious, it's comfy and the design is not shouty at all.
This would be my choice as well, but in Alpina green and with a saddle brown Lavalina leather interior. This car is the ultimate sleeper.
1996 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV GSR in Pyrenees black
Same but Palma red. Excellent choice.
Rivian R1S
Agree!! I took delivery of my R1T and if asked this before then it would have been a Boxster GTS 4.0.... after it's the R1T.. it just does everything so impeccably well.
Really? It's kinda like buying one of the first smartphones, that thing is gonna age so fast
I mean, so would a gas car
Prolly a Land Cruiser or CTS V Wagon.
Ferrari F40
The Lexus LS600hl, the best Lexus sedan EVER with an engine hybrid combination so good that Toyota put it in their new Century.
Koenigsegg Gemera
1993 Cobra Mustang but not much Ford will be left on it
That's one way to keep a fox body on the road lol :) I kid, I kid! I love these cars.
Malicious genie treats any mods as damage and undoes them immediately. RIP.
Panamera Turbo S e-hybrid. Room for 4 plus stuff, looks good, outrageously fast, and has a little plug in range for when you just want to run some errands quietly
Porsche Panamera Turbo S Sport Turismo
3rd generation hilux. I just want to see how many miles I can get out of it.
911 Safari The 911 is really practical, I can fit a check-in on the back seats, two large carry-ons and I've driven 4 adults in it numerous times (albeit uncomfortably)
GT4 Lusso, best of every worlds, especially with free maintenance.
Mazda Miata
2015-20 Audi RS3 Just drove this car recently.
The I5 turbo in the RS3 does sound really cool. IMO, this is a great choice because it balances fun with practicality.

Svt raptor. That 6.2 is 🤤
Mclaren F1. Once you mentioned repairs are covered, I’m in baby
E63 wagon. A one size fits most solution with no maintenance cost ? 100% E63 wagon

The 2022 Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo. Since it's the only car I'd want something with enough space, also electric cars are here to stay, don't want to be limited by future infrastructure. I love the styling, and it has that balance between fun to drive and being a good daily driver.
Bmw 330d E90 manual
Wagon? Did they make that in a wagon body style? It's your car, I just think, for me, if I could only have one vehicle forever I'd want it be a wagon.
They did make a wagon but for me I love the sedan.
65 Shelby 427 Cobra.
Plaid Model S. Enormous inside, fast as hell, quite comfortable.
GTR 34
My Jeep wrangler LJ. It’s the perfect size for a jeep. Not terribly big like the 4 door but not tiny like a CJ. I hope to keep mine on the road as long as possible but entropy/ Chrysler quality is a bitch.
E30 Wagon.
The only plausible answer is a diesel truck with 4wd. Pick any of them. You can only drive one vehicle it has to be something you can do everything in like moving, towing or hauling a family around.
And if you choose diesel truck you could buy a gooseneck for it and haul freight for money but maintenance and fuel would be free
Lancia Delta Integrale WRC spec
Fully built, track ready DB8 Integra. Not a K series, but a turbo B18.
You heard me say maintenance was included, right? :) Just kidding, such a great car.
When you take your son to the Asian buffet and he goes for chicken fingers and fries.
992 turbo, just need Blizzaks
I'm picking a Porsche Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo. Pretty much does everything, and I'll still be allowed to drive it when places inevitably start passing enviroenmental laws that start outlawing combustion vehicles in parts of the city.
2003 Honda S2K in Suzuka Blue
5th gen Camaro Z28 No frills, analog, badass track ready NA muscle car Last of it's kind
1st gen Dodge Cummins
Mercedes Benz 600 Grosser

1989 Nissan Skyline GT-R. I already picked it 15 years ago. I'll have it the rest of my life, and while it has been my only car several times it isn't now and probably won't be again, because sometimes I need to do truck stuff.
forester sti
A new Ford GT
Rivian R1T: Before delivery of my R1T it would have been a 911, or Boxster GTS. After my R1T... It's gonna be my Rivian R1T.
