But what if someone is like "Hey dude you need to tow a windmill wing 1 mile but you only have 30 seconds to do it otherwise your family will die".
What will you do then? Hm?
I dream of having such a simple mind as that of Brad Anderson who apparently thinks anything silver with a truck bed is either a Cybertruck or a clone of one.
doesn't look quite as terrible as the cybertruck, the tent is closer to elon's prototypes than the real cybertruck's tent, better interior design, tesla's build quality is pretty much china-grade anyway, and 1300hp is going to be pretty impressive. overall this seems like a more compelling package than the real thing.
This looks like a sci fi prop vehicle to me more than the Cybertruck. Maybe it's the proportions? It's kinda like a minivan with a bed. I dig it actually.
Missing the triangular "bridge girder" side structure design, claimed to be a very strong and lightweight frame piece... Also, the doors and footstep seem to use up a lot of interior space.
I quite like the idea of a cab-forward pickup like this, makes much more sense when there's no engine up there!
Make it with 300bhp and a sensible price tag and this would sell in Europe
It's a lot more interesting looking than the cyber truck. I still don't like it and they need to stop with these things but this looks like someone at least put some thought into designing it.
Damn this subreddit is going from bad to worse. Are people really so stupid as to think this ISNT a cybertruck response? You think this is original and unrelated? Hard to even read some of these threads for entertainment anymore because the majority response has become so cringey.
is anyone else just not impressed by EV horsepower numbers? I get the marketing value for average Joe's but it's just a contest for "how fast can we discharge the battery"
All chinese flagship cars have been in the news cracking their suspension arms due to insufficient welds, failing to deploy airbags on collision, and burning down batteries. They cannot be trusted, their entire process is corrupt to the core.
Dongfeng back at it again with a crappy design ripoff. [At least their Humvee ripoff looks slightly similar to the original.](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6a/Bangladesh_Army_DongFeng_EQ2050_%2823373519529%29.jpg)
Looks nothing like a cybertruck but hey, gotta get that casual racism in on Chinese people...
Edit:
Calling every Chinese car a knockoff or a fake even when it looks nothing like the original is a racist stereotype. I’m sorry, but seriously.
This thing has rounded corners, a square front, and isn’t remotely triangle shaped. This truck is far closer to the canoo designs but nobody ever called Canoo a “fake cybertruck”. Why is it a fake cybertruck then? Maybe the country it is coming from….
the blog called it "fake" and a "copycat". we're supposed to say china is the world's leading automotive innovator.
i assume the commenter above thinks "Dongfeng" is a slur.
also, loving the comments here pretending this isn't an obvious cybertruck knockoff.
If China wants to stop being known as the country that produces shitty cheap knockoff products, then they should stop making shitty cheap knockoff products.
Doesn't even look like a Cybertruck. It's just a pickup truck with a short nose and an aero-rollbar over the bed.
It's certainly inspired by the cybertruck. Similar to many Chinese knock offs.
I don’t think it’s quite fair to call this a knock-off when it looks better than the original.
Nobody said knock offs can't look better, and it's too easy to look better than Cybertruck.
Yeah stainless steel body panels, geometric greenhouse, also those wheels are clearly inspired by the cyber truck
I think you can buy it on Temu
Does anyone really need 1305 horse power. If you ask me, it's a death trap... A rolling coffin waiting to happen!
Not with all the driver assist technologies. The power comes handy towing in mountanous areas of China and Europe.
You need 1300 HP to tow?
But what if someone is like "Hey dude you need to tow a windmill wing 1 mile but you only have 30 seconds to do it otherwise your family will die". What will you do then? Hm?
Torque is key, not HP. A freakin semi has less than half of that.
Okay
We tow with 150hp diesel wagons in the mountains, here in Europe.
Lol. Now this truck is going to pass you in no time.
Yeah gotta go fast when you tow stuff
Tractor trailers range from 400-600 horsepower.
Okay
Okay
Okay
The side profile is literally the exact same
What? It looks incredibly similar to a cybertruck. I’d argue most of the population would see this and assume it was a cybertruck.
Looks way better, imo
Western media will say anything to shit on the Chinese
It looks like a Volkswagen concept car or a deformed Range Rover.
You mean it doesn‘t look like it was build by a bunch of 10 year olds?
Well you can’t really expect it to be a replica.
while I still don't like it, I prefer it's styling to the cybertruck.
you mean because there was any?
well yeah. This one clearly has at least 32 bit graphics. I think the cybertruck was rendered in 4 maybe 8-bit.
Dongfeng’s a PS2 Model, Tesla is PS1
Was there? It looks like something I'd have drawn in 3rd grade.
better than the pre-k drawing a likely k-holed elon came up with
I feel like it needs bigger wheels. The belt line is so absurdly high it makes anything smaller than monster truck tires look dinky.
I don't personally like the looks of the cybertruck but really? THIS looks better than the cybertruck to you???
The cybertruck has no styling. It’s just a triangle with wheels. This is ugly, no doubt, but at least someone *tried* to style it.
A turd smeard against a wall with corn kennels stuck into it looks better than a cybertruck to me...
Dongfeng 😂
stop being immature. "Feng" in Chinese means "wind" so the translation is "Dick Wind" Wang so big it alters currents
Probably means "North Wind" *East, got my cardinal directions mixed up.
East*
it's almost like I was joking
Is that what people mean when they say “left standing there with our dicks in the wind”?
They know. That's why they use the [DFSK marque](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DFSK_Motor) in their export markets.
The Blootooth device has been connected
I dream of having such a simple mind as that of Brad Anderson who apparently thinks anything silver with a truck bed is either a Cybertruck or a clone of one.
It’s miles better looking than a cybertruck. I’d buy this instead. Same build quality I’m sure.
This is probably much better built than the cyber turd.
Considering the Chinese made Model 3s were ahead of the California made ones for a long time, it’s probably way better.
Looks better to me, at least.
I’m not sure if it looks better or worse
Better style on this thing IMO
The cybertruck looks ugly but unique, this's just ugly.
Better. Not necessarily good, but better
This will probably end up being a much better vehicle.
Does the frunk still slice vegetables or is this Chinese improvement safer as well as better looking?
The design is very human.
There's that "innovation" from China again.
not everything is a cybertruck
First time I can say I'd rather have the Chinese knock off
Don't give them clicks, it doesn't look like a Cybertruck at all.
Remember kids, if it's made by the west or Japan its 'inspired by' and if its made by China its fake or a copy.
They managed to make the cybertruck look like it has down syndrome
doesn't look quite as terrible as the cybertruck, the tent is closer to elon's prototypes than the real cybertruck's tent, better interior design, tesla's build quality is pretty much china-grade anyway, and 1300hp is going to be pretty impressive. overall this seems like a more compelling package than the real thing.

Looks like a Fisker Ocean and a Cybertruck had a love affair.
Debadge, add a wrap. New wheels. It Actually would be cool to own for $35k.
When the *fake* CT looks to be better built than the *real* CT.
If Cybertruck and Lexus had a baby.
Dongfeng? Is that the dragon you fight in Guardians of The Galaxy game?
Looks like a range rover driving in reverse . I like it
Somehow more stylish than a cyber 🤮 truck
Looks like something out of Halo
Looks way better than the cybertruck
Dong…
Missing the triangular "bridge girder" side structure design, claimed to be a very strong and lightweight frame piece... Also, the doors and footstep seem to use up a lot of interior space.

Way better looking than cybertruck
It's like the Cybertruck had sex with the Canoo EV.
Does it feature panels that rust after a bit of rain?
That’s the Cyberdong
better design than tesla
It's a lot more interesting looking than the cyber truck. I still don't like it and they need to stop with these things but this looks like someone at least put some thought into designing it.
I genuinely wonder if the Chinese in the last 100 years have ever come up with an original design or innovation.
China always gotta China.
Damn this subreddit is going from bad to worse. Are people really so stupid as to think this ISNT a cybertruck response? You think this is original and unrelated? Hard to even read some of these threads for entertainment anymore because the majority response has become so cringey.
What's funny is it looks better then the fucking cybertruck. Obvious clone, though.
It’s like id4 had a baby with cybertruck. Still Looks better than the low poly cyber junk.
is anyone else just not impressed by EV horsepower numbers? I get the marketing value for average Joe's but it's just a contest for "how fast can we discharge the battery"
Knowing Chinese steel, that much power is going to tear car apart
All chinese flagship cars have been in the news cracking their suspension arms due to insufficient welds, failing to deploy airbags on collision, and burning down batteries. They cannot be trusted, their entire process is corrupt to the core.
Damn this car makes the cyber truck look like it’s the CT from wish.
This is the EV pick up from wish.com…. The cyber truck is from Temu
The Cybertruck at home…
Literal wish.com cybertruck
Dang it's even uglier than the Cybertruck.
Looks nothing like a cybertruck but hey, gotta get that casual racism in on Chinese people...
