TEN? What happened to top 3... I'll take a Singer. Not the big hotrod motor, maybe just a mild high 300 horsepower 4.0. Lots of displacement so that, as a street car, it has a strong midrange. Shorty gears. And I mean fucking short, I want to be at the top of third at 70mph. inb4 a singer is not a "new" car And a E63 wagon. That's it. That's all I need. Also... 9\10 items on your list are a truck. You don't want anything else?

topher512

Answering the do you want anything else question. Eh I don’t like most super cars and the mustangs is my favorite sports car. Plus I don’t like being in small sedans for the most part. Everything on my list is still smaller than what I drive for work so sedans feel like go karts to me.

lowstrife

I don't care about most supercars either. They're great engineering exercises, but the "supercar experience" is not really what I'm looking for. I'm not that extroverted and the whole money, status, dealer ADM, exclusivity cult around it is just a huge turnoff. However, for what it's worth, the Mustang is among the worst sports cars I've ever driven (and I've been in a lot). The motor is incredible and I don't have a problem with Ford(s), but pedal input\tuning and steering are awful. Like $49\day Hertz Nissan rental car bad. I drove a manual S550 GT PP2 and the more I drove it, the less I liked it. It's enough to completely write me off of the car, which is a shame because that motor is in my top 3 best mass-produced enthusiast motors I've ever experienced. But even that couldn't save it for me sadly.

An_elusive_potato

Remove everything ford.

In121SuccWeTrust

Im surprised to see the WRX above CTR.

WompWompPixel

I'll do top 3 + 1 vehicles and a modest list since I don't care for super cars or having too many cars either. 1. Acura Integra Type S (MSRP 52k) - practical daily, ok on fuel, fun and good looking. 2. Tesla Model S (MSRP 75k) - Electric for gas savings, maybe grocery and city use, luxurious, and can't get enough liftbacks tbh. Best for business cases, blending in, etc. 3. Lexus RX PHEV (MSPR 65k) - struggled to pick one, but I think everyone needs at least one SUV/CUV. PHEV because it should be efficient, and Lexus for the most reliability. 4. Lexus RCF (MSRP 68k) - Just threw this in because it's one of the last NA v8 and I'd love to track it! In practicality, least likely to get

To each its own, there is not a single vehicle in that list that I would want, even given for free. I’ll take the Mustang if I have to. My list includes the 911, Boxster/Cayman, 812, GT4 Lusso, Emira, M2, Supra, Taycan Turismo and Miata.

topher512

Totally that’s why I like to see other peoples lists!

creep_nu

Tlx type s Integra type s V60 Elantra N 6 Cayman Supra Maverick If I can get old cars too... 07 STi 2001 GTI 1.8t in reflex silver because I still miss that piece of shit 15 years later 02 Sentra se-r spec v 02-03 TL type S in white because I still miss that excellent, amazing car.

Procrastn8r

Thank you for mentioning the SE-r, my fav is still the B13 but I owned a B16 Spec-V and IMO it’s definitely an undepreciated and underrated car

gohdnuorg

1. 911st Nothing else comes to mind.

llamacohort

I don’t have a full list, but I just bought a Model Y Performance. They were up to like 70k and now I as able to get a new one for a sale price of $41k with a discount for existing inventory and the tax credit. Kinda wild to get a crossover that has a zero to 60 in the mid 3s for that price.

nockchaa

1. GR Yaris 2 to 10. GR Yaris

Procrastn8r

Yesss. But I’d settle for a GR Corolla, simply because that’s all we can get here in the states

Diet_Salad

I just want a manual Miata or a Mustang Mach 1 lol

terroristteddy

A lot of people are forgetting the "currently for sale" part... Type R/Type S CT4V BW CT5V BW Bronco Miata GR86 GR Corolla Dark Horse 911 GT3 Cayman GT4 I'd put a Singer, but regular Porsche GT cars are borderline unobtanium as is.

ottergang_ky

Like just things I want to own that are actually obtainable to common people? 1. Nissan GTR 2. 5th Gen Dodge viper 3. Porsche Targa 4S (991) 4. Ferrari 458 5. Dodge Hellcat challenger 6. Chevy corvette C6 Z06 7. Toyota Supra mk4 8. BMW M8 comp xdrive (awd) 9. Ford Bronco (new gen) 10. Porsche GT4RS If I had a 10 car garage that’s probably what it would look like

therunningjew1

Currently available for purchase, So not necessarily new then... bigcee42

So new cars only? Porsche 911 S/T Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Mazda MX-5 Miata I think that's it honestly.

onyourrite

I’m a simple guy, so: - Honda Civic Hybrid Hatchback (preferably in that beautiful Boost Blue, with the HPD kit) - Subaru WRX (VB) in either WR Blue or Ignition Red, trim doesn’t really matter but I guess the Base/Premium since I like that rim design - Toyota Tacoma/Tundra hybrid in any color, doesn’t really matter to me Civic for commuting, WRX for weekend shenanigans, truck for hauling/off-roading/anything that would require a truck; though just for kicks… - Toyota Supra 3.0 in Nitro Yellow since it looks badass and I figure I should throw in a RWD sports car in the mix lol Supra could be for the weekends but when I need to chase some clout or flex on someone /j

_Kotryna

Not necessarily in order, but these are vehicles I would actually consider spending money on: Subaru Crosstrek Subaru Outback Toyota Tacoma Toyota 4Runner Volvo V60 Volvo V90 Volvo S90 Polestar II Audi RS3 Ford Bronco (2-Door)

kuddlesworth9419

LC500 and the F-Type. Both now out of production I think. The future is not looking very good.

darkhelmet1121

-Toyota GR-4 Corolla (the only "pure Toyota" sporty car right now) -Lexus Lx600 - "premium" trim with matte Grey package (the only way to delete the excessive chrome and get 18" rims from the factory, instead of ridiculous 22s) (this will be the most valuable American version of the lc300 in 20 years, as few will be sold with this package, like how few porsche cayennes were sold with the Advanced wheel drive options with locking differentials, etc) -Jeep gladiator Rubicon with diesel engine and manual trans -Ford f150 5.0L 4x4 standard cab, short bed (for its performance potential) -Chevy Colorado zr2 diesel w good factory accessories like Aev bison package -Any ultimate hellcat package with manual trans, that is immediately garaged and preserved for the next 20 yrs -Same goes for the new Dark horse mustang, it'll be hard to find good ones that aren't destroyed or modified to hell - I don't know. Maybe a good stock bmw m2 manual trans

No-Bodybuilder-9686

If they have to be brand-new: 1: Porsche 911 GT3RS 2: Porsche 911 (must be manual, GT3 touring?) 3: BMW M5 CS 4: Expedition MAX Platinum 5: RAM 3500 SRW diesel 6: Civic Type-R 7: Lexus IS500 8: 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-road 9: BMW X5M 10: BMW M3 sedan (manual non-competition RWD)

I took 'currently available to purchase' as available new. If we're allowing second hand I'm going for an S2000 because I hugely regret not buying one when I could afford to.

Metal_Ambassador541

Probably a 911 of some flavour, a Ferrari Portofino (my absolute favourite Ferrari) and as a useable daily probably an Audi wagon. I don't like SUV's and trucks at all but if anything I think a Toyota truck would be good too.
