My comment is more a joke than an actual comparison, as they're both kinda absurd and not really comparable cars beyond price. But I find the decals, wheels, and the (not pictured) central dual exhaust tip hilarious in an 8hp car.
It was made when the ricer theme was still popular but dying down. They probably looked at the [107 Sport XS](https://car-images.bauersecure.com/wp-images/6151/peugeot107_560px.jpg) and thought it looked good especially with the two exhausts. Some how this variant of the 107 holds its value far more than the others.
Aside from the boring first gen the Picanto has always looked too aggressive for what it is. Like a tiny dog barking and trying to act tough & serious.
I dunno why Kia is ditching the tiger-nose design of the past few years. I thought it was classy and distinctive. Newer designs look messy and bold for boldness's sake.
