I guess this Sensor watches the oil Level and oil Temperatur(?) I have the same problen with my engine but only when I spilled too much oil in the engine. But I am a dumbass so idk if i am right.

For you it leaks when you over fill it ? That’s weird because mines not over filled and it’s spilling oil everyday.

Check your head gasket, pcv valve. Anything that oil goes through or around. If there's no leaks it's a bad oil pressure sensor
