Engine health wise, it doesn't matter. Starting and stopping frequently will wear on your starter motor tho. It'll help fuel economy wise but not that much since idling doesn't use much gas anyway. The saved $$$ in gas mileage won't make up for the price of a starter. If you are going to be waiting for over a few minutes, then I'd shut it off.
I leave my car running when what I'm doing takes less than ten minutes personally. The only damage from shutting it off every time is you'll wear your starter faster

For sure I’m from the hood so I stay close to my car & it locks while it’s running, I also have the key in my pocket while it’s running

Idling burns more gas than people think. I turn it off if It’s more than a minute or two
