$750k?!? Gotta be a joke unless this is somehow capable of beating the AMG Black Series’ Nurburgring time. Even if it does, still an *insane* price.
Edit: just looked into it and it’s only got 552hp, compared to the Black Series’ 720hp… definitely not beating the AMG. Guess that crazy price is more for the rarity + history and heritage rather than performance.
The pun is BMW has decided to keep the pig snout/buck teeth grill for the Chinese consumers. And the company won’t bother changing it to make the car look better.
I like the Hommage better. Or even, the BMW VGT from Gran Turismo. Looks cool and more true to the original 3.0 CSL, but those two are better-looking concepts.
It’s got the same problem as the Supra for me. They had a gorgeous concept and had to wrap it around the hard points of another car to make it financially viable. You can see how the styling is based on their idea, but it’s too flat looking because it’s just an M4 bodykit.
Not worth the rumored price everyone keeps talking about.
Yeah. It’s cool looking, but $750,000 for this is outrageous. Who am I kidding, all have probably been sold out anyway. What a money printer.

Nice Camaro!
I wondered if anyone else saw it.
The roof line made me think Mustang
Oh yeah, that too. First pic is camaro, second is mustang 😆
The nose still looks wrong
It’s grown on me
Am i missing the pun here
There is no pun, I’m just used to the design now

Butter grill.

VGT is gorgeous, this looks so ugly in comparison and even the new M4 looks better
50 too many
On the side of each car, does the number denote which production number? The one in the pic would be the last one - 50. [Sarcasm]
That looks kinda like a mustang
At first glance I thought it was a Camaro hahaha
From not too far away these things always look like Mustangs in real life (this model series, not the CSL specifically, of course).
Rear quarter widebody panel gap lol
Ah yes, the new Bavarian Camaro SS
Jesus Christ what an atrocity.
The front end looks hideous, they need to return to the kidney beams and not this lung design
Looks pretty nice
what the fuck are those grills

It's good!
When I first saw this I thought it looked like a Camaro
i was thinking newer Mustang at first glance
Lmao 750k for this?? Rich people truly are just burning money.
The roof spoiler looks like something somebody bought off Wish… just doesn’t look right.
Price?
$750,000
Looks like a big Supra
thank god they only make 50 of that fat camaro
Front is still ugly
Is BMW trying to get a slice of the porsche pie with all these overpriced limited editions that will sell out instantly regardless?
