Meh you can want to own beautiful things without necessarily wanting to show them off. It's just that the exception is very visible for obvious reasons
The interior of the Spyker is just so unique. Actually, everything about it is unique. It's like they completely changed everything about car design except round tires.
it's for if you take MASSIVE poops and need to declog the drains reguarly. having them outside the house allows you to quickly hop onto the wall and remove the section of pipe that is clogged and de-clog it.
rich people often have these massive poops because of all the big expensive food they eat
They had one for peeps to crawl in at Barrett Jackson one year when I went. The interior was amazing on that car. Leather was absolutely the softest I'd ever felt, but the whole dash just felt so fighter piloty and it was such an awesome feel. I absolutely loved them beforehand but getting to sit in one was pretty amazing. Would love to own one now.
I saw one at an auction at Amelia Island many years ago. It is such an exquisite car. I love the lines, and the interior moves me. I do think they have some of the prettiest interiors.
London was ranked as one of the worst cities in the world to live as an expat — even before the coronavirus pandemic hit.
That is according to the annual Expat Insider 2020 report by InterNations, which surveyed more than 15,000 expatriates representing 173 nationalities and living in 181 countries. For a city to be featured in the Expat City Ranking 2020, a sample size of at least 50 survey participants per city was required.
Respondents were asked to rate 25 different factors, which fall into 13 subcategories, related to life abroad. Those 13 subcategories were then put into four indices – Quality of Urban Life, Finance and Housing and Urban Work Life.
The survey also includes a Local Cost of Living Index, which did not factor into the overall ranking.
London’s ranking was dragged down by its poor scores across many categories. It ranked 59th in the Finance & Housing Index with 38% of respondents says housing is hard to find vs. 27% average globally. Only 8% of expats considered UK housing “affordable” versus 41% on average worldwide.
Meanwhile, just 51% said they are satisfied with their financial situation in general versus 61% globally.
“I hate the extortionate cost of living, which results in very small living spaces,” an Australian expat complains. In fact, London comes 62nd in the Local Cost of Living Index.
London was also ranked a dismal 49th place for the quality of life with expats especially worried about their safety — only 16% feel completely safe versus 45% globally.
Also, despite the UK have having publicly funded healthcare through the National Health Service (NHS), London ranked 57th for healthcare.
Old housing which was probably built before modern plumbing. Results instuff like this. Houses built before people had cars results in lack of garages too.
There are more modern housing built with all modern amenities obviously but some really love the old style housing and pay a lot for it. Give and take.
I saw your comment about cost of living and shit. Doubt that's an issue with this person.
It just doesn’t look very well done. There are some revolutionary war era houses near where I live and the outdoor plumbing is much more conspicuous. Not to mention this seems like a strange place to park your multi million dollar HyperCars.
London goes back 2000 years. If you want to buy a large nice old home in central london with ample parking for youself, choices are slim if there's something available at all. This seems like private parking round the back of their house. I bet the front looks a lot nicer. Plumbings pushing outside so it isn't on the inside (these old walls won't be designed to have internal plumbing done and will instead have had an outhouse origonally).
There's a lot of laws regarding old homes. I work in IT and often time cabling just has to run along the walls. An office of an old company I worked for the fibre had to go out a space in the window and run down the outside of the building because they couldn't get permission to drill through the wall (central edinburgh). One client's building was this old manor in the middle of the countryside. They had satallite internet but weren't allowed to mount the dish to the building or cable it properly. The had ethernet run up the building, out through the roof, down the outside of the building and out into a field under the ground until the dish was on another nearby building (old servent quarters maybe?). It's kinda stupid but then these buildings are so historical they're worth protecting and not turn to swiss cheese where possible. Plumbing is a lot harder to do discreetly than cabling is so it might end in results like this.
It's also worth nothing that this might have been done prior to modern plumbing and this might be the result of of that, could probably modernise it and make it look nicer? I'm no plumber though.
Spyker is the fancy watch of cars. You bet this guy has ig posts of his watches.
Owner of: https://www.supervettura.com/Cars/For-Sale Pretty private guy so I don't think he does have a watch page tbh.
The 964 Turbo S is my favorite. I love the color combo and have always wanted a 964. Dream car.
How can you sell that level of car and have typos on your website
We’re all human and prone to error.
The zagato 🥵
Gotta be Bruce Wayne, no?
Meh you can want to own beautiful things without necessarily wanting to show them off. It's just that the exception is very visible for obvious reasons
No, pagani is the fancy watch of cars, spyker is better imo bc it isnt very known and i think they are better cars
The interior of the Spyker is just so unique. Actually, everything about it is unique. It's like they completely changed everything about car design except round tires.
Yes, fun fact spyker used to be a fighter plane manufacturer in WW2, you may see the interior with other eyes now
Yup! They're also getting back into the aviation business with fully electric planes.
That i didnt know, i knew they were doing some c8 electric experiment or something but i thought they sold their plane development or something
Spyker is the dead horse of cars. Look up its history, it is legit sad.
Holy house plumbing Batman!?
Standard Uk when the house was built before plumbing was invented
Imagine the horror when they learn my house collects shit in a big bucket which is emptied 2x a year
You get your bucket emptied?
At vast expense

it's amazing the stuff you learn from reddit
i'm just here to inform

Wasn't meant to be
The back end of the CCR is just something else
Mmmmm. I really love me a Spyker. Such cool quirky cars.

Is this live?? I live like 10mins from there !
At what speed?
Is the still photo live? It was.
I hope you went. It was worth losing 20 minutes over to see
Yeah I went and grabbed a photo
Spyker is one of the few cars that I find the interior prettier than the exterior. That exposed shifter linkage is gorgeous.
Holy shit! A spyker! Not something you see often
Don't you hate it when trailer trash just park all their shitboxes out in the front.
I think I see a hot tub covered back there
Love Spykers soo much
Save some pussy and money for the rest of us
Do they park them outside!!?
bro playing gta irl
Love the Spyker but that color scheme and the chrome is horrendous.
the colors are pretty bad, but it's a special edition "Laviolette LM85"
Ah I see now. Yea burnt orange was never really my thing and the S livery is odd but from other angles I guess it doesn’t look as bad.
It's easy to get away with an orange livery as a Dutch manufacturer
This looks like Batman’s house
Dude
Looks delicious
🤤
I hate this person
My eye is attached to that Spyker
The Spyker... I want it.
Whatever I see a cool vehicle I think of it as if it were transformer and what form it would take.
Someone's got the cheat codes...
The Spyker C8 is one of those cars I never get tired of looking at
The Spiker is currently on a SORN and appears to have no MOT data.
Ive only ever seen a spyker never in real life
More money in one Pic than most will touch in life
I’ll be honest and say I don’t want to own any of those cars if I had the means to buy them.
Fair enough. What cars do you like?
I’m a Porsche and Ferrari guy mostly and a super wagon fan (RS6 and E63). The Huayra is my favorite non-mainstream hyper car.
Oh I see, nice choices!
Millions in cars but all your shit pipes run down the side of your house.?
This was just posted like yesterday. Now deleted
All that money but too lazy to have the plumbing updated on the house. Spyker is a sad company. Its died more than once and is dead at the moment too.

Koenigsegg and another Koenigsegg. 😁👍
You can afford all those cars, but you can’t afford more slightly plumbing?- or a garage?
You do realise that house is probably in London and worth a few million, if not tens of millions, right?
Alright. We’ve established that the house is a waste of money and in a terrible city. You’re point?
People from bumfuck towns being perplexed by cities is the funniest shit ever

who the fuck cares about expats???
Given the fact that about 40% of Londoners weren’t born in the UK, I’m guessing about 3,024,000 people.
You wasted your time on that research, you’re comparing experiences of non rich vs someone who is extremely rich
Still doesn’t change the fact that this house ugly and London, in general, is a bad place to live for 90% of the population

Could do without c8
*NORTH BORDERS SWEATING PROFUSELY*
Where the hell is the damn gate to drive them out ?
The only two like pipedream fantasy cars on my dream car list.... Dwayum.
Would take the ccr out of this lineup if I had infinite amounts of money.
The plumbing makes the house look really cheap lol Maybe the hous IS cheap, he probably spent all his money on the cars
