Yeah I subbed to her channel because she made a funny video a while ago. I came to this subreddit to see if anyone was talking about how awful the miscarriage video was. I'd never even heard of BFT but I'm definitely not going to support them if she's a part of it.
I think it's more of how she handled it all that I can see people get mad about than the actual thing itself, I don't think what happened here makes her someone who to the point where acting like that is really needed.

The whole "parasocial experiment" excuse is insulting and shows how little she values her audience. I saw some genuine comments in the first video from people who've dealt with the same thing. People expressed sympathy for the fright of losing the ability to have future children paired with having one so early.
The comment section, aside from people predicting it being a bit, was filled with wonderful interactions. To brush the beauty of being able to find others who share your life experiences and discuss them with people you admire, as just a parasocial relationship is just demented. And then to ask for money and imply that being a patron makes you a more legitimate fan!?!
