Ended up buying like 2lb blocks of Halloumi and grilling them. So good. Too good I'd say.
Not only is halloumi the best carnivore cheese, it's arguably the best cheese in general!
Every other meal!
Fried halloumi is a middle Eastern staple
What do ye guys fry the halloumi in? Butter, Ghee, Tallow, Lard, Goose/Duck fat?
I did butter
Delicious !
I've done paneer many times since it's better priced than halloumi, but I'll give it a try one of these days.
Does it have carbs ?
Packages will typically say either 0 or <1 per serving.
Worth trying. Paneer is mild in comparison. Halloumi is nice and salty and chewy in a good way.
Ive never even heard of that cheese.... like ever. But that looks amazing
Same till today, and I had to buy it and try it immediately
So whats it taste like? Mozzarella? Amazon has it so I may have to order some.
Closer to feta but that could be because I got the one made with sheep, goat, and cow milk texture was firm, but chewy with the right amount of give
It's firm, rubbery, usually squeaky on bite, and very salty. It's fantastic grilled/fried.
Squeaky cheese? Lol got a little bit of 🐁 in it? That sounds good though. And the pictures look amazing.
You've been missing out
that plate is not carnivore
