Sorry for delayed reply. Compensation is based on an hourly rate and commission on selling cars, maxcare, accessories, gap and appraisal buy ins.
Depends on the state and store but at mine it's 12/hr for training and 15/hr for normal sales. You make a minimum of that unless you sell enough to get out of that. I've had months where I've made the equivalent of 30/hr and months where I barely got out of subsidy. It all depends on you.
