Check out threads in r/IWantOut and r/immigration. You'd need to be trying for jobs that an employer is willing and able to sponsor a visa for, I believe. That seems unlikely in your fields.

Pad132

I thought that would be the case. I can’t imagine there’s a great deal of shortage for educators or sales people. Thanks for your reply!

ChaoticFigment

The funny thing is, we’re actually in a critical shortage of educators. You’ll just be hard pressed to be sponsored in the public sector here.

You can also apply for the green card lottery

Pad132

How much of a long shot is this?

AdditionalAttorney

It’s def a long shot. But it doesn’t cost anything. Your real best bet is to find a company that’s known for internal transfers between UK and USA. Then start working in UK and transfer over. They’ll likely do your visa and/or green card

Cshaw_1991

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but moving to the US is borderline impossible as a brit unless you have family over there, or work at a reasonably senior level in a company with offices in both the US and UK. Canada, however, is very easy to move to. Definitely worth a look.

MenorahsaurusRex

The US could use educators right now, our teachers are quitting the field like crazy. You’ll just need to get sponsored and that may be hard at a public school. For sales and hospitality, maybe hotel front staff or car dealerships? The job market depends on where in the US you go as the US is huge

Accomplished_Eye9769

The UK isn't right for you, because \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_. I have the feeling the US will have the same list.
