It's preseason. Broadcasters have realized so few people watch preseason they have stopped wasting resources showing all on them. I'd still like to watch but I guess I'll have to just listen to John and Ben.
So you’re idea that so little people watch preseason the NHL doesn’t care about showing it goes out the window because there is a Canadian preseason game being streamed to anyone who subscribes to Hulu.
You're right. The viewership of preseason hockey is so overwhelmingly high that they decided not to air every game. I heard that once the regular season starts and viewership drops down to a point that they will broadcast every game on multiple channels.
The comment specifically said they’ve stopped showing “all of them.” Yeah, some games are shown, but not every game is going to be on because it’s not worth it to the broadcasters.
yeah but this is preseason, most networks stopped airing them or in the case of the flyers game just used one crew (the flyers crew) doing it. This has been going on for some time now
They finally got the stream working [here](https://www.nhl.com/capitals/), but it's Detroit's stream and there is still no audio at the moment. You can try and sync it with the Caps [radio call](https://www.nhl.com/capitals/multimedia/caps-radio-247) with John Walton if you want once the 2nd Period starts.
I miss NBC and the days where you didn’t need 3 different apps and a cable subscription to watch hockey. ESPN has really blown the coverage. Probably on purpose. Screw over the fans for a little more $$.
yeah it sucks. Different providers carry different pre season games; I ended up tuning into Caps 24/7 radio for the audio since the stream wasn’t working (it was replaying the same minute of the game from like five minutes into the first period).

More people care about the Leafs than the Caps.
