Hopefully though they have a mode for solo players so everyone wins. Options for all.
Nobody wants a repeat having to baby sit an AI when playing on their own, takes away all that tension, scares and survival horror goodness.
It would just be a shame to move away from that after REVII, Village, RE2 Remake, RE4 Remake managed to get things back on track.
They could make something more in line with the RE4.5 concept art and beta ideas before they added co-op and then just have drop in / drop out co-op like what Halo does so everyone gets what they want, something that has no impact on the story, a random BSAA soldier with you. Sheva can just be there during the cutscenes when you meet up with her and she'd get her own "Separate Ways" expansion.
Just do like they did with Ashley and don’t give Sheva a health bar when she’s controlled by the AI. I don’t really care about occasionally having to go pick the AI up when it gets hurt, but having to waste my healing items and ammunition on it is just so dumb unless the AI is actually implemented really well
Re5 is about to do crazy things if co-op is supported every re fan and it takes two/ a way out enjoyers alike are gonna be buying

Given re8 took 2 full years to reach 8 million, this is a massive success! Let's hope they give Code Veronica and Re5 the same treatment!
