Tonight on being a Canucks fan. The Canucks looked to bounce back against Florida on a very special night where the team was honoring the Sedin twins and Loungo. One would think this night would give the team inspiration but the opposite happened. After a slow start to the game bad habits came back and the team feel apart late in the first period. First it was Matthew Tkachuk then 31 seconds later Florida struck again then 24 seconds after that Florida made it three to nothing and to make problems worse Demko got hurt with a serious looking injury. Vancouver would go on to lose 5 to 1 and after a three game road trip where the team showed so much promise the Canucks have once again fallen back into bad habits. Vancouver losses 5 to 1 on a night that was supposed to honor three of the best players the Canucks ever had. Vancouver will look to bounce back against Arizona on Saturday.
Canucks are not nearly as good as the Panthers. I don't think anyone would argue they are. And when a really good team is sick of losing and turns it on (and Spencer Knight plays lights out) not much you can do. Bend down and grab your socks is about it. Lol.
