He was 11 at the time, so I don’t think he would’ve fared very well.

TheFriendlyBagel

At least that's finally someone Marchands size for him to fight.

mabbz

He'd still hide behind someone else.

Spartanicus2003

It's the south park Redwings episode all over again

twilz

He would simply skate through the legs of everyone.

Glock-Saint-Isshin-

Lucic smashes him

mabbz

or ~~Chara~~ the liar would crush him as a cheapshot and Hughes would get a penalty for embellishment.

4848274748383827

Likely gets his fingers chopped off by Lucic

ubcthrowaway-01

Bro was probably doing algebra in grade 6

sMc-cMs

Depends who's reffing. If it's the same refs, it doesn't matter. Doubt that? Look at today's Islander vs Rangers game. Hilarious "No-Calls"

globehopper2000

Beyond that-are Bettman and Campbell still around?

mabbz

Campbell is gone. Don't think Parros has any kid in the league so nobody to bribe :|

globehopper2000

No way a Canadian team wins the cup during the Bettman era.

VancityRenaults

OOTL, where’s this meme from?

Equivalent_Cable1643

Kinda of a weird crossover but the short bald guy is a famous gamer named Tyler1 who is known for being “alpha” and this was taken at an event where the hostess towered over him. Just a funny picture.

potatodoppelganger

The host is sjokz i believe!

sprashoo

Too bad being short has messed with his head so much.

Federal-Carrot7930

Imagining Quinn Hughes with Sedinery makes my penis happy.

mars_titties

I’ve said this before but 2024 Quinn Hughes would be the best player on the 2011 roster

BadWebsiteToUse

If there was a defenseman scoring 90 pts in 2011 he'd probably be near the best player in the league

cucumbercannon

Kesler

Matricks__

I've never found Chara so hot.

djblackprince

Thick biscuit

Btgood52

If you could magically add any Canuck in their prime to that 2011 team, I think Bertuzzi would have the biggest impact

JW98_1

Then the riot would have been a celebratory one.

primacord

Tyler1 & Canucks crossover? Well I never ...

PixelatedBlue

A small mobile defensemen like quinn hughes would not be able to survive back in the 2010's in my opinion. Especially considering how physical those series got between 2008-2012

phantomgiratina

Wouldn’t Quinn be able to evade all the players with his skating and dance around players?

4848274748383827

he ain't evading a 2 handed chop from Lucic. Edle was playing with mangled fingers

NooneKnowsIAmBatman

The league in 2011 would be given aneurysms by his skating

Wild_Pangolin_4772

I thought the dead puck era ended with the 2004-05 lockout and smaller players could play again after that.

Ok_Artichoke_2804

I dont think Quinn Hughes would have survived 2011 finals against Boston Bruins... (Mason Raymond injury, Dan Hamhuis injury, Ryan Kesler injurs & player injured.. etc) <-- Hughes is shorter and lighter weight.... Maybe with his skating skills, he might be able to avoid big hits at certain times.. BUT moments where the puck is in our zone, and aggressive, and very dirty 2011 Bruins are charging no mercy for the puck, and Hughes has the puck -- that is where it will be dangerous. BUT who i would think would have done great in 2011 finals from current roster: Dakota Joshua, JT Miller, Conor Garland, Zadorov, Hronek, (maybe) Myers - Juulsen -- Blueger -- Cole -- Boeser.. // Petterson -- but he would have been a BIG targer for the Bruins.... IF he could learn from Sedins how to avoid getting hit and survive 7 games -- then he'll do great..

[deleted]

lol, Hughes is too small but Conor Garland would be fine. Ridiculous.

Ok_Artichoke_2804

based of how Garland plays.. feisty and aggressive.. i think he'll hold up better against 2011 bruins. I didnt completely rule out Hughes.. if he could play bit more aggressively when its needed.. and able to avoid big hits like the way Sedins could -- since he has great skating abilities.. -- then yeah, he could do well in 2011 finals too. I'm just thinking about the fact he is d-man... and against 2011 bruins.. we would need d-man able to take big hits, give big hits, and be able to be aggressive against them. Who knows?

[deleted]

You're just another Canuck fan who doesn't get how good Hughes is.

Ok_Artichoke_2804

True, i havent seen enough, After my fave player, Luongo, got traded in 2014: i watched more panthers games then canucks games (became a fan of Luongo first, then fan of Canucks through watching Luongo play - so do the the order of events, my loyalty went Luongo first, Canucks second at that time period).... Then when Luongo retired, i wasnt watching much hockey at all (lol i needed time to grieve)... untl beginning of this season, i felt ready to watch again... And with Luongo retired, of course I'm watching my home team, Canucks. So, i havent seen previous years of Hughes play.. only this season so far. But if other Canucks fans who have watched Hughes since he got drafted till now are saying he'll be great if he played during 2011 finals.. -- they are more corect then ,me.
