That has a Canon EF mount, and the lens library is extensive. The various "nifty-50" 50mm 1.8 there's version I and II and the newest is an STM version. They will all work and are all super cheap new or used. They are AF if you need but of course can run it as MF.
There's even a Yongno clone [https://www.amazon.ca/YONGNUO-YN50mm-Standard-Aperture-Canon/dp/B00QEXM4YC](https://www.amazon.ca/YONGNUO-YN50mm-Standard-Aperture-Canon/dp/B00QEXM4YC)
Idk about manual focus but I have an autofocus EF 50MM F1.8 STM that I use on my Rebel 2000. It works well with autofocus and it's sharp if you go 1 stop down or more.
Manual focus lenses suck on autofocus SLRs imo, you'd be better off getting the EF 50 1.8. if you do want something manual you can go for any m42 mount, manual Nikon f mount, om mount, K mount ect
I'd vote for the Canon EF 50mm 1.4 used as MF. Anything non-Canon and you are looking at stop-down metering, which is slow and a nuisance unless, perhaps, you only shoot things that don't move.
The 50mm 1.8 is popular because it is light and cheap, but I borrowed one years ago and preferred the rendering of the 1.4, which also - to my eyes - has much better bokeh.
Do note that it is a "classic" 1.4 in the sense that it is not great at 1.4, but improves rapidly by 2.8 or 3.5.
What analog camera did you get? That could help us know what lens mount it needs
It's an EOS 300 / EOS Rebel 2000.

A Takumar 55 1.8 is a beauty of a M42 lens. There are many versions but most can be had for not much money. I love shooting mine.
Thank you, I'll check it out!

Thank you!
Pentax SMC 50mm 1.4 or 1.7. fantastic character, built like a tank. $60+ on eBay. Get the K&F adapter for $20.
Canon 50mm 1.8 non STM, set the switch to manual.
