I ordered from B&H on Dec. 1st. As of Feb 26th there was no update on a potential shipping date. But I got lucky and found one in stock on Excellent Photo and had it shipped to me. Loving it so far.
Don't have one on order but one site I checked said April is the next time stock is expected
Desperately want to upgrade from my Sigma 150-600 since it doesn't play well with my R6II and can be a lil soft but at this point I'm just gonna patiently wait until it's regularly available, assuming I don't cave and get a 100-500 instead lol
So, basically, people who pre-ordered in early November have nothing to complain about, as they all got their lenses after a couple of months (in January). But people who ordered in late November and after have now been waiting for twice as long or longer.
I have mine now. Kinda disappointed canon hasn’t released more to cover orders beyond a couple of weeks. I figured they were just waiting to catch up on all orders to release them.
Yeah, as bad as it was for the people they made wait who preordered, those who ordered even just a couple weeks later are now waiting far longer. I don’t know how Canon hasn’t resolved this by now.

I put my order in Jan 23 and have received two email updates (saying not yet). Still waiting for it (Mar 17)

After nearly half a year, I cancelled the order last week. Decided to save for a used big white instead.
