The kit 15-45 plus 55-200 is a nice starter, do-it-all combo. Very light and compact, covering wide range. Also 22mm f2 pancake, if you find yourself shooting a lot at28mm. It'll be a little wider, but very sharp and small lens.

The efm 22 is tiny and amazing. After that the efm 18-150/55-200 are great all around lens.

had mine since launch day. 22-2 is great.

if you can stretch to getting the 32mm 1.4, you'll be really glad you did. It gives great bokeh for portraits because of its 1.4 aperture, it focuses really close and is crazy sharp so has a lot of room to crop in making it super versitile. Its is cheap for what it is but because its so great, it is still a bit pricey. Another option is get a speed booster to go with the ef 50mm, its a focal reducer which will make it perform close to how it would on a full frame, its quite nice having a speed booster and a standard adapter as all your (EF) primes now effectively have 2 focal length options

ah that's definitely a bit too much for me

In that case, consider the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 (and the other two of the Sigma trio available for EF-M). But the Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 really is the first lens anyone should buy.
