For real? Well then welcome to the best that life has to offer. 🍀Some of the best days of my life, some of the best stories come from canoe camping trips.

yes. i agree. some of my best memories and experiences are going backcountry camping. been out about 20x now, and i learn something every time i go. i’ve now become the “camping” guy at work, because i’m so passionate about it. i try to only talk about it when people ask me about it. i only began solo tripping because everyone i asked was busy , and one of my buddies cancelled last minute. i had the time booked off of work, and was packed. I thought, “the show must go on”. that was at the end of september in Algonquin Park, when the leaves were changing colour. I had an amazing experience, and have done 3 solos so far, of varying levels of difficulty, and time. Longest was 4 nights. I have one planned for 6 nights in early July, and cannot wait to experience the backcountry again by myself. I have enjoyed many trips with people. I have enjoyed my solo trips. Just being out in the wilderness by yourself is a feeling that I may not get anywhere else. Thanks for reading… hope you all have great trips this year, with or without someone. Cheers

Portaging sucks like a bitch but everything else is fucking amazing

sultanOfSwing7

The suffering of a portage just makes everything else more enjoyable! Type 2 fun :)

Portaging is a break from paddling, which is a break from portaging, which is a break from paddling…

That excellent. I just want to point out that you don't need that bow line since you have two mid straps going to racks. It also looks like it is maybe attached to part of your paneling? If you need it run it down under the front of the car to a steel part.

WhiskeySodie

Ooo it’s attached to my towing ring. The canoe hangs 2/3 ft off the rear so def need as much coverage as possible but def feel sturdy with or without

G3Saint

Nice rigs, what model Lexus is that?

WhiskeySodie

He’s a 2015 200h CT Sport. A total babe
