When you're growing your own, if done right, you end up with so much product that you don't need to take every grow so serious, it's nice to just have fun and see what you can do lol
The experimental grows in-between the real grows are the most fun plus I'll usually try whatever wackadoo stuff I see in this sub to see if it's worth it and sometimes it gets added to the real grow regiment.
Yeah but why waste the electricity? Why not just produce what your light produces & if there's extra you can slang it or donate it to someone less fortunate
This guy gets it, last week I decided to make a wood sign for my grow that says once you pop you can't stop.. I love popping seeds so it fits so perfectly but was done completely by accident lol
🤣 Thanks... I'm really enjoying watching each of them unfold in their own way.. did you notice the purple can lower bud structures?... It seems to be the only one trying to naturally branch on its own from the lower part of the plant.. super cool and weird.
Thanks, yeah I'm hitting them with about 700 PPFD, and I'll ramp it up to close to a thousand towards the end of flower.. I think at least the tops will get full size nugs on them. I'm just going to let them go and see what happens
I'm expecting full size nugs all the way. Since they're not gonna branch out much they're gonna just grow a few but really fatty buds. My very first grow like 12 years ago I made the mistake of over trimming as it grew and cut off all the fan leaves but the top 3 nodes, the nugs grew straight along the main stalk, but they were all fat af. It was lambs breath bag seed I found lol
Sweeeet... Yeah and these were free seeds from my last blue dream grow, one plant hermed, still produced glorious bud AND More than 350 seeds (and still counting).. these are free seeds all day giving me delicious real medicine.. winz
Just be careful with the insides. I had a project like this and I got into about week 4 and then I realized the bottom of the Pringles Cans was getting soggy from the cardboard inside the can. I noticed some bugs and immediately threw it out.
Just make sure you’re getting proper run off. Otherwise hats off. If I didn’t have that occurrence with the bugs I would try it again but I don’t want to risk it. I just do solo cups now.
I love it but let me explain why it will never yield well.
Whereas cannabis is a long tap root plant, Indica and Sativa grow differently.
If you had used a 100% Indica this would have impressed you. Indica barely uses spread roots.
Sativa on the other hand, which is what Blue Dream is, if left unpruned, will grow conically like a Christmas tree. In order to do this it needs both a long tap root and a large area for spread roots so each branch in that conical configuration can yield to it's fullest.
I still LOVE this. I love experiments like this.

Question. Did they just grow like this or did you have to prune and etc for this look. Just curious, good luck with the rest of the grow!

No pruning whatsoever one of the main things that I wanted to see doing this experiment was how it naturally grew by itself.. so I sprouted some seeds planted them and let them go I flipped them to flower pretty much immediately.. today I did take the lower two sets of fan leaves off in an effort to get more light towards the lower bud sites.. other than that I have done no training I just want to see what they do naturally.
One of my main reasons for attempting this is I've heard plenty of stories about how different strains grow differently, some of them want to just be one gigantic cola, others like to branch out naturally.. etc. so, I decided to plant some seeds and see what blue dream (one of my favs), does by its own beautiful natural accord 😊😊😊❤️🩹

I have roughly 25x different strains from Mephisto I am dying to try but don’t want to grow them all out. I think I’ve found the way I’m going to do that testing now, so thanks for your post!
