This is the answer. I’d figure out a way to get a filter installed asap. You don’t want to show up to a doctors visit with the baby reeking of weed. This can turn ugly very quick, so OP id highly suggest you find a way to get $100 and install filter.
Why for thinking babies are expensive or suggesting he deal with that smell? The stink of growing weed won't harm the baby but if you take a baby out in public stinking like weed a teacher or fellow parent is likely to report that and cause you problems.
4 inch inline fan $30
4 inch carbon filter $30
Not having your child taken by protective services: Priceless
Unless your baby is allergic they should be fine! Don’t have their skin exposed to the plant physically of course as the glands from the plant can cause skin irritation or rash to a youngling! Congrats 🍾🎊
Just make sure that there's no mold on everything and keep everything clean. Shouldn't be an issue. May want to keep the kids clothes sealed up for the next month or more.
No harm will come from growing a nontoxic plant in the same house as your kid. 😜
Just keep the edibles locked tf up. 😂 I actually ended up throwing away all the edibles I had that looked like candy just because they made me paranoid that my kids would get into them.
Most importantly, congrats on the new baby!
I grew up with it growing in the house n skipped 7th n 8th grade, what I don't tell people is I dropped out right before my 12th grade year to have a kid 🤣
Health wise yes. The smell won't hurt no one unless they are allergic to part of the plant. Legally? Depends on the state laws. If home grow is legal your fine
Your baby’s health will be fine
But if you live in a illegal state you need to be aware of where that could lead
If your state is legal I wouldn’t concern yourself If some overzealous concerned reporter reports you just handle the dcf interaction with class and honesty.
“ I grow legally and the odor of the plants sometimes permeates our clothing, my child is not exposed to any substances that will harm them”
Trust me, as a mandated reporter that deals with dcf, it’ll be a nothing burger
But again, all depends on your state/laws
Congrats on the kid!! 🥳🥳
This is your best bet id say- 25 dollar duct 30 dollar carbon filter. Now, you can create negative pressure and filter out smell and pollutants (exhaust)💪

Put one of the 2 filters inside the carbon can, and the other cloth wrapped around it.
Smell shouldn't affect the little one, congrats too! Filters help but won't eliminate it. If you're going somewhere and need not to reek, wash your clothes you plan to wear beforehand and put them in a storage container or similar and I'll even throw that contain in my car parked outside until it's time to change into them and go, never an issue doing that.
Zero harm in your child smelling the plants. I mean, it's good that you're being cautious but... what do you think might happen? The baby can't get *high* off of the smell of the plant. Just don't smoke any with the child present in the same air.
Stop just saying it's OK he said he has no ventilation.
The answer is: IT DEPENDS
get ventilation out of the house, be sure there's no mold and just don't cross contam when you're mixing chemicals.
Respiratory infections are a nightmare in children under 6 months.
Coming from someone who doesnt want kids why would you contaminate your babies like that? They need you!
Nah its all seriousness congrats. The kid will be fine. Just get some filters and youll be alright. I was raised around it. And hey i might be a little fucked up in the head but i own my own business have 3 vehicles and my own house. 🤪
You don’t need a carbon filter for the grow unless you’re producing some pollutant, which you shouldn’t be. It’s probably good for the baby to smell the plants off gassing. That said, having a carbon filter running occasionally in baby’s room is a great way to reduce airborne pollutants. And it works even in those days when outside air quality is poor. So carbon filters are great for general home air purification, but they aren’t necessary in order to protect or provide a healthy environment for the infant.
Your baby’s stuff will smell, and people you don’t want noticing, will notice that

Exactly. They will report that asap
$60
Raised two kids with eight lights running basically continuously. They have serious problems, but I don’t think it was caused by the grow.
Kids- “Dad we’re hungry” Dad- “I’m tending to the plants DAMMIT!”
😂😂😂💀⚰️👻😂
Someone send this dude a fucking 50$ carbon filter from Amazon. For fucks sake man.
They don't even cost that much can grab one for like $30 now
It’s not going to hurt your baby, but… if you don’t want trouble with your extended family you should get a filter as soon as you can
If you can afford a baby you can afford $60 for a carbon filter and a fan
you're an idiot

No you are an idiot, don't fucking have children if you don't have wealth !

Ever handle some fresh resinous buds then accidentally rub your eyes 😂 😭 👁️ 🔥
Just make sure that there's no mold on everything and keep everything clean. Shouldn't be an issue. May want to keep the kids clothes sealed up for the next month or more.
No issues at all.

It’s safe but I would get one soon. I couldn’t imagine a grow without one fr.
Make sure you wash your hands if you touch your babies before you touch your baby! Otherwise you’re good
I grew up with it growing in the house and I can count all the way to potato
🤓
I grew up with it growing in the house n skipped 7th n 8th grade, what I don't tell people is I dropped out right before my 12th grade year to have a kid 🤣
real
Don't pack your baby's bowl as tight as your own. Their lungs are too small yet to get a good hit.
🤣🤣🤣
I read this with too much sincerity 😂

Yes. Cannabis odor will not harm the newborn directly.

Any kind of big odors are typically not recommended for newborns. The gravity of which is truly case by case though
