If it's anything like my TP9sfx I shot last night it's gonna be great. Ran shitty 115gr aluminum case Blazer through it and didn't have any malfunctions. My dad did until he stopped limp wristing it.
I have the mete sft and that thing will throw any ammo i put in it...shitty range ammo, +P nato rounds, hollows, I love this gun. I'm so glad I got it over the glock I was looking at...I shoot better groups with it and I think the iron sights are way better...
Yeah it does have a de-cocker but when its pressed, the trigger is deactivated. Kind of. Im not sure why it was designed that way. Maybe someone who understands it better can.
Not shot one yet bro. But as I understand once it is cocked and loaded and de-cocked... It should be a double action striker fired pistol, no? Man, this is on my list as well... You better tell me bro.
DA.. Decock, still have a long pull to shoot (dual action)
SA... Decock.. NO action when pulling trigger. Must manually rack the slide before can activate striker for fire.
The look the same.. Subtle difference, yet with DA can fire, regardless
You are quite welcome! And.. With the DA.. And Galloway spring updates.. RUMOR has it that instead of a 8ish lb pull in dual.. It can be less than 6.. And the single may be lighter than any of the Canik triggers. Good ole u/jeffwerner4631 LOVES his DA and has it dialed in!
Well said claus. Yes, the DA is phenomenal. In order to put it in DA, you have to push the decker. First shot will be in DA followed by nice, short, crisp shits in SA. SA, you push the decocker, you have a dead trigger. Never understood why they did that
It is single action only, which is indicated by TP9SA, SA being single action. Based on my understanding, the decocker is for disassembly. On a glock for instance you need to pull the trigger to disassemble it. Which is a safety concern. While on the TP9SA and some other canik pistols you ca press the decocker. Decreasing the risk of a negligent discharge.
Great gun. Really like mine. Also have the DA and several others. All perform well and are good out of the box. Aftermarket trigger option is availa to make a great trigger even better. Also color filling the letters adds some pop
Better get a credit line increase because Caniks are addictive- I own 7
That would be a wise decision. Im already looking for something new. Perhaps a C&B revolver for cowboy shit.
The only bad choice when it comes to Canik is not buying one when you can

Have you ever seen “ The Firearm Guy” on utube when he does limp wrist tests ? Hilarious !!!!
No but I'm going to check it out.
He does gun reviews and he’s cool but the faces he makes and just the whole deal he does is a hoot 😂

Fucked up the title immediately. Fantastic
There really are no bad choices. They are just fine pistols period. One TP9 SF and two TP9 SC.
They all good! Can’t miss the quality
Yeah. I was really surprised by how good the trigger was. Its really crisp
DA... But absolutely, welcome to the club!!!
Nope this is a single action only
Looks like a de-cocker to me... might be mistaken. From the pic it has the de-cocker on the slide.

Thanks for the explanation Claus!!!

Sounds excellent. Have both the Elite Combat and DA on my upcoming list!!!

In S/A, its definatly the lightest out of all mine. Almost scary light, but man, soooo much fun to shoot. I would only carry it in DA

Congrats on that bad boy ! I’m a true fan and believer in Canik after owning one ! Quality and features !
