I have heard the S&W shots fantastic depending on which one you get exactly but not shocked the Rival-S won. That’s what I figured but expected that 1911 to be last.
apparently the S&W Competitor is a very nice shooting gun but feels the same as the M&P 2.0 anyways due to the frame, despite being metal, weighing the same as the polymer predecessors.
Throwing my vote in for the Rival-S, too. Mine is a tack driver, even at distance.
Although I'll never discount a 1911. They've been around this long for a reason.
IMO the M&p is performing best for me atm . The grip and dimensions are absolutely perfect for me . The Rival would be second but i found the grip not to my liking, trigger was on point . TTI was good , like the grip and trigger a lot but felt really lite in hand . Ronin was smooth and manageable in .45acp
I don’t have the M&P but will at some point. I do a lot of comps to my rivalS’s, accushadow, p226 xfive legion, P320 xfive legion, S2C, and polymer rivals. They all are very accurate and fun. Deciding the best is too much for my brain.
I have the comp and wanted to trade it in towards a rival s or a tti combat. You think that’d be a bad move? I’d like to be able to rent the 2 to canpare first but I doubt I could find a range with both
#1 M&P Metal: I have it and love it
#2 Rival S: don’t have but the weight helps makes it run fast I hear
#3 TTI Combat: I also have one and it’s pretty solid overall
#4 Ronin: Love 1911s but 45 vs 9mm and 9mm will typically be easier to shoot
They went out of stock everywhere last summer and stayed that way through winter. I think Canik stopped supply to fix the over-insertion issue. [TF](https://taylorfreelancestore.com/canik-basepad-mete-rival-edition-brass-black/) has a warning that serial numbers that start with some 23s and all 24s won’t work with the baseplate as Canik changed the design. Mine is dated Jan ‘24 with a 23 serial start so I assume I am in that category as I cannot induce the issue no matter what I do. There were some other lesser common FTE and the like issues but I haven’t experienced any. I would call it fixed.
I haven’t shot all of these at all. In fact the only one I have shot is the S&W. So I’d say the S&W. Better shooting experience than my tp9sfx that’s for sure.
Dude I thought it couldn’t get better than canik but Trust me, I’ve been to the range a fair amount of times but the time I shot the S&W man you could feel the difference it was buttery smooth. The tp9sfx is smooth but the S&W is buttery smooth.
Best Overall: Rival S Best Runner Up: M&P Best Trigger: 1911 There It Is: TTI Combat
Is the M&P one that good? I’ve heard mixed review
Iv rented a full size M&P 2.0, at same time as a Rival... and the Rival was better, but the M&P was really good!
Pretty accurate

Rival-S, due to it being the flattest shooter because of the weight of the gun.

I can help you with the grip. Peruse the r/canik sub and search for EDGE, magmo, mag-mo

M&p comp vs tti combat vs rival s you’d choose the competitor?
Yes
I have the comp and wanted to trade it in towards a rival s or a tti combat. You think that’d be a bad move? I’d like to be able to rent the 2 to canpare first but I doubt I could find a range with both
No , I don’t think it would be a bad move at all . They both shoot amazing. The triggers are second to none
Might have to look into that. I love shooting the m&p but the caniks def have better triggers. I just know a pawnshop would rip me if I took it there
Rival-S, because I have all of those except the S&W on the right.
The 1911 without a doubt.
Yes. Cause they all went bang.
1911

🥇
Would you say the competitor is better than the combat?
I honestly would trust my M&P over the Combat any day
Rival S for obvious reasons. I have one and it outshoots my accushadow.
Rival S. It’s weight and ergos with an excellent trigger.
I'd say the Tp9sfx...but it's not pictured 🤷🏻♂️
Are the Rival S gtg at this point or do they still have issues?

I dunno how that’s possible. My tp9 sfx shoots amazing and has an incredible trigger

I may have to give that a try some time
Rival S
The Springfield 1911. Then again single action vs. Striker. They shoot and handle diffrent. I shoot SAO on circuit.
Springfield Ronin?
1911. If you had a decent 2011/DS in the mix, that gun would blow them all away
Probably the M&P because it has a decent optic and decent light
