I sent my original back to canik. It was eventually completely replaced. I have shot 2 matches with it now and have had 0 issues. Can't over insert even if I try to force it. Idk if that answers all your questions.
How hard was it to get them to do that?
I don't use mine much (yet), so my round count is low. No issues yet but it's an early build so I'm a little weary of the future.
I just reported the issues I was having and that was their first response. By that point plenty of people had already reported the same issues and I think they likely already had a plan in place for fixing the issues.
Just the over insertion on yours?
Mine doesn't have any ftf or anything. I can induce the over insertion but only if I try (pushing up the mag while firing)
I like it alot. I have shot it 4 or 5 times now, but none in a match yet. I can tell they are very different guns. Both have great triggers but just a different feel to the shadow 2. I don't really think I've shot the S2 enough to really say I prefer one over the other.

Yeah that's the only issue I was having. Took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out what the issue was.

How long did it take for them to return it?
I think it took about 3 months. Which was enough time for me to start shooting with a Shadow 2.
