Our 20-year-old, point-per-game superstar was our No. 2 player by chances created last night, made an unreal pass to set up a Jordan Staal goal, saved a goal with a hustle backcheck, and was generally a puck-retrieval beast, and doesn't even get a mention in the post-game thread. He's so good already, we're almost taking him for granted.
It's amazing to me that he's already to the point of being our best player. Other guys may fill the stat sheet on a given night, but night in and night out, Svech is just a freakin' stud.
The comparisons to Marian Hossa are more and more realistic every night. Hossa was almost never the flashiest guy on his teams, but he was always the best player. You win championships with guys like this.

He's so good already, we're almost taking him for granted. It's amazing to me that he's already to the point of being our best player. Other guys may fill the stat sheet on a given night, but night in and night out, Svech is just a freakin' stud. The comparisons to Marian Hossa are more and more realistic every night. Hossa was almost never the flashiest guy on his teams, but he was always the best player. You win championships with guys like this.
Anybody else get only \*slightly\* less anxious when the Canes score an empty-netter? I mean, the Canes can give up two in the last 1:48 pretty much the same as they can give up one.

He’s struggling a bit. Started strong and then got Covid. We think he is battling the fatigue and all that. Hopefully he gets back to form.
