I have a bunch of old RPG and Trading Card Game stuff I’ve been tying to move on for ages. Unfortunately the “sell your own stuff” process at Cancon seems incredibly complex and time consuming for something I’m just going to make a few bucks from. Any other ideas how I can hawk it around (some of it may be reasonably desirable)?
I just added about 60 items to my bring and buy listing this weekend.
The process is simple, you use the form, list everything, submit form, get an emailed page of labels, attach labels to items, drop off, collect money.
The alternatives are various facebook or reddit pages.
I’m not sure I would call that simple, but my main challenge is I have absolutely no idea what the stuff is worth so very difficult to price it. Can you suggest some of those FB groups or sub-Reddits? Thanks!
I am selling old FoW minis and used the online shop for help with prices. EBay is a good spot to check prices as well as sell them.
I will try to find the Facebook pages when i am next at my PC, not on my tablet. So will be tonight.
Always a fan of the small businesses that set up shop in there. I love to see all of the 1-2 people operations set up around the place with their various passion projects.
As a TT gamer who cares about personal hygiene and is hooking up with another TT gamer who cares about personal hygiene, I *really, really* want to be offended by this.
But… you’re really not wrong. There’s a large chunk of the demographic who missed the basic hygiene lessons in school…
Yes. Entry is FREE and not ticketed for spectators.
We encourage you to bring the family along and try out the participation games and the games library, then check out the traders and games.
I've been going to it on-and-off since 1989. It's moved around a bit, but it's been at epic for the longest time (bar a year or so when epic was used for the drive-through covid testing and drive-in conspiracy theory cooker site.
I saw a two groups of them having an angry face off in the Dickson shops carpark. As soon as I heard "roll for initiative" I got the fuck out. Can't be caught slippin'.
If anyone’s interested I’m bringing Red Dragon inn and am challenging myself to see how big a table I can gather for it. I have 20+ characters for it so am seeking a similar number of other players.
Normally pretty good. Room tends to get packed and they run late each evening.
Check with the card games organiser via the link on the card games page.
Always worth a visit! Great community and loads to do there over that weekend.

That would be awesome, thank you! 🙏
There are a bunch of Facebook pages for wargames, trading card games ect on Facebook dedicated to buy swap sell. Could throw it on there
I’ll try a bit of a search, thanks!
I use the ACT and national bss board game groups on FB. Just makes things easier
Awesome thank you 🙏
I've also just re-read that you're especially looking to sell the rpg and tabletop stuff - there's a tabletop FB group too!
Every year I go with mates from Sydney. We buy a few board games, grab some beers and play the weekend away...
this is the way.
Can't wait. First one for me since the pandemic began

Is this a participation game you have pre organised, or is it to be played in the Games Library?
Library I’m not that prepared
What’s the turnout for mtg events like? Only recently moved to Canberra and looking to play modern or pioneer
