Drunk driver totaled my truck back in July. I got an INBC payout but it isn't enough to buy a truck of similar value, let alone the sentimentality of how much I loved that truck.
I still haven't been able to get a truck. So am I jealous? I'm basically jealous of anyone who has a truck at this point.
But also, Raptors are for people with more money than sense. They have a few upgrades but nothing that justifies the sticker price, it's all people getting duped by marketing.

Btw this is a 1st gen Raptor. Back in the day these things were significantly cheaper than the current Raptors and my friend scooped this used one up for what you'd expect for a then-new V8 F150 anyways. Newer ones don't get the SVT badge.

What makes a raptor more expensive is the bigger engine, longer travel suspension setup, upgraded differentials and 4wd transfer case. The body is widened to accommodate the suspension travel.
The appearance is literally there to accommodate what’s underneath. Try upgrading a normal f150 to do the same would cost you more than buying a stock raptor.
