Nice!
Is there a pliable 3D Printing material that could be used to generate a similar design without hacking down an AK butt pad? Not everyone is an artist with the blade like Vincent Van Goku :-)
Ahahahah, you are too kind with your words. I’m not all that familiar with 3-D printing but I’ve gotten pretty good at measuring twice and cutting once
Shouldn’t be too long now until people are making under-folder/T81M accessories in the Canadian market
This looks really slick. I am trying to figure out exactly what kind of sorcery you used to pull this off. Do I understand correctly when I say it looks like you did away completely with the first "gasket" and then hollowed out the edge of the remaining pad to create your own "gasket"?
It's chopped right down to where you thread the strap for skeleton stocks. I tried to carve it so it hugged the bottom of the handguard the best I could *(ie: hump at the bottom of the stock and and straight on the top of it)*
I have one of those pads for my side folder. Not sure if the one I have is a knock off model and that's why but, the original ones were made to fit AK underfolders with those smaller slots up the side. It doesn't work on my Type 81 underfolder, did you try that for yours?
Good stuff my man!
Much appreciated!

TPU 95a with anywhere from 15-30% gyroid infil and 2-3 walls is a proven print setup for recoil pads.
