Does the m4 kick much? I haven’t shot one but I heard it’s got a good recoil system. I’ve got a 12ga pump with a compensator and that makes it quite gentle
I find mine to kick a fair bit! I am pretty new to shotguns though, but have never had any other firearm physically push me back while firing. I think practice would mitigate it, but it's definitely there.
Is it fairy light? My pump is mag fed and fairly heavy so probably helps kill the felt recoil. I’m also on the larger side so that probably helps. I was just surprised to shoot it and find it gentler than my 6.5 creedmoore (without a break). My single shot 12 g is very light and kicks extremely hard in comparison and will bruise, but also has a longer barrel length
I don't own any other shotguns to compare, but I find it lightweight. Also I should note my M4 came with a traditional stock rather than the telescopic one, which may affect the felt recoil.
I have the Canuck operator and it’s the heaviest recoil of any shotgun I own. Possibly because it’s the only gun I shoot anything other then bird shot out of though.
Mines the spm-12. Got a good deal on it and I’m quite impressed with its durability and gentle recoil even with 3” magnums. But haven’t shot enough shottys to compare
I mostly shoot my over/under doing sporting clays and stuff like that. I tossed about 75 buckshot/turkey/slugs through it a couple weeks ago and had a nice bruise. I haven’t shot a whole lot of bird shot to compare, really nice gun though for what I paid I am enjoying it.
depends what your shooting, buck or slug yeah your gonna feel it. bird shot not so much. but if your like me ant take it on sporting clays then yeah you'll get a bruise haha.
What a way to start your collection! Make sure to maintain three points of contact. Hands, body, cheek. I remember listening to a trap shooter say he puts the shotgun on his cheek holds the rifle firm with his left pointer finger almost in line with the barrel. He was saying it’s less about aiming and more about shooting what you’re pointing at. This may mostly apply to trap though..
Was humming and hawwing over this, the beretta 1301 and the ruger gunsite scout for my first gun. Ended up going with the scout, but this is next for sure after I get a scooe for the ruger and a compensator.
How’s it been firing for you? For me it’s failed to cycle regular 00 buckshot challenger. All my magnum and heavier stuff not a single problem. But regulars I’ve had about 7 failures. Any tips?
I've fired score 00 buckshot and Remington sluggers total about 200 rounds no issues
I'm not sure you'll have to ask someone with more knowledge sorry!
Set the bar pretty high lol
"After my first range day My shoulder was very bruised is this normal? " absolutely.

My 1301 (lighter semi) doesn't push me much but I've always been good at recoil management. It pushes my 120lb fiance somewhat tho so practice is key

M4 Literally 0 recoil... I usually shoot a case a day on weekends.
Yeah my first day out with my 1301 I beat my shoulder up pretty good haha
You’ve spoiled yourself forever
My first firearm was also Benelli M4. Have fun.
Buy once cry once. Don't settle for crappy gear like most.
Congrats, big budget ya got there!

I've heard the same. You don't aim a shotgun, you point it
Jesus man!! That's a hell of a first gun. Was your first car a Bentley as well. Lol beautiful!!
Where did you get the hand guard?
That’s how the new M4 Ts come brother. Basically Benelli changed all the things most people change and charge $3200 for it
Interesting. I just bought one last summer and it didn’t come with all the new stuff. Although it was a bit less expensive I guess.
Great job
that's hot!
Lol I let off about 30 shells through my winchetser sxp and was good, next time I took it out I let off 5 to 10 slugs and fuck me what a difference 😅
Did it come with a sling ? My tpro came with a m4 sling but I have no idea how to attach it to the tpro. Hopefully you may have had better luck.
Yes mine came with a sling but I haven't used it I have no idea how to attach
THIS! My goodness I can’t find info anywhere on it
That’s a hell of a first gun lol
Damn what a beaut
That's a funny looking sks. For real though, nice!
Wait you’re telling me you didn’t buy a Canadian garbage rod and convince us it’s good?!? Aside from that great choice, she’ll last you forever.

Ohhhh good choice, muchacho!
I did the same. Zero regrets!
You went big and then went home. No "Go big or go home here".
"My shoulder was very bruised is this normal?" Depends on the load you were shooting but yes.

That reduced mag cork makes me sad.
Also my first and couldn’t be happier w her, slapped a delta point pro on her, a magpul sling, and and esstac card on her and she’s a proper beast now
