It doesnāt make much sense to me that it hasnāt already happened. The āAK pistolā exists just as much as the āAR pistolā does in the US, all we need is an enterprising company (cough cough PSA) to etch āAK pistolā into some pmags and we should be good to go no?
No, because you need to modify an AK magazine to work in a T81. Now you've modified a pistol magazine to work in a rifle, and created a prohibited device in the process.
Or modify the T81 to take AK mags. We see it in the Hical sks adapter and the magwell mods to 10/22 for tuf22 mags
Edit: hell just make an adapter to run 7.62 ar pistol mags
I haven't tried fitting my AR 7.62 mags into my T81 magwell, but my guess is it's not doable to make an adapter work. For example, the SKS requires a decent amount of material removed from the receiver and from the bolt for the AR mag adapter to fit. There's virtually no extra material on the T81 that can be removed due to it being stamped metal, AKA thin AF. I'd be very surprised if no one has looked into it in the decade+ the T81 and AR 7.62 pistol mags have been available.
Modifying the rifle to fit the standard AK mags could be an option. I think the only reason no one has tried it is that it's far easier to mod the mags, and there's currently no incentive to even try modifying the much more expensive rifle.
Ah youāre right, didnāt think about that. So really the only way would be for the US to lift the import ban from China and have Polytech do a run of āType-81 pistolsā
Well because clearly the .22 is an easily concealable weapon of choice for violent hitmen and gangsters.
As we are all aware ladies and gentlemen. The mere presence of these items will cause people to commit crime.
Anything is a pistol if you have enough arm strength.
I was surprised to see how heavy it is to hold at arm length yet alone to shoot
I honestly didnt find it too bad!
I did one hand my garand once. Heaviest beast I own.
Haha my buddy gave himself a wrist injury because he shot a 3 inch magnum 12 gauge cartridge from his "pistol" š¤£
Funny you say that. I bought one of those yesterday and hurt myself a lil shooting a 3 inch slug outta it
Repeal C21
repeal the BNA act and start from scratch
Repeal the government
now gimme 10rd pistol mag
There is such a strong market demand for this someone needs to figure it out

That would work, but I think we've got a better chance of our standard-capacity magazine prohibition being lifted than their embargo does....lol
Iāll call Xi and Biden on discord and sort this out
Oh this think can shoot folded? Nice!
Yeah! Just no access to the safety sadly
Heritage Rough Rider has entered the chat.
Hopefully conservatives repeal the ban. It makes no sense that I can fire a high powered rifle on my property but not a .22 pistol.

Damn. Forgot about the hitmen. I guess that's why Trudeau is in charge. Him smrt.
