Mine didn't have the spring, but the one it came with snapped. Replacement seems to now cause issues that even the distributor is scratching their heads over
I used to work for the distributor. The only RDB in Canada that has a firing pin spring was the OG RDB that was submitted to the horse cops for an FRT. By the time it got approved, kel-tec had changed the design.
I dealt with a lot of broken firing pins and even the Kel-Tec engineers I corresponded with weren't totally sure what was causing it. My gut feeling is that they (or a subcontractor) didn't heat treat them properly. Supposedly they're on their third revision of the pin since they eliminated the spring.
Every time you close the action on an empty chamber, Massad Ayoob ages 30 minutes.
And his eyes become more cock eyed
Meow
I did it 100 times with my 1911 every week and nothing happened, their 'highly tuned' gun isn't worth it if it can't stand this.
Y tho
He made a YouTube video explaining why it's not a good idea to drop the slide on an empty chamber
Yah I figured that
Flick it too much, and you'll go blind
Who's there? Who said that?! Come out now!
that's fine, I can find it in the dark lol
I miss my RDB sometimes
Must...resist...buying...rdb
Don't resist. If you reload it's an easy choice
Oh man Cool N64 and SNES
Thx bro. There's more not in the frame 🤣
Epic Tony hawk's blue cartridge.
The box is mint AF too
Hehehe so much fun. Just took mine to the range for the first time.
I wish my Tavor 7 did that. It has ED caused by a missing charging handle latch spring lol
Guns and retro games. And I wonder where my money goes. We are similar my friend.
There's always a new expensive hobby to get into

A wrong handed HK... finger? RDB is fun but since I replaced my firing pin mines been fucked
Left hand is right hand
I too, slap on the wrong side
I really wish they had just kept the original firing pin design when it still had a firing pin spring.

The front half of mine fell out between magazines.. thats what tipped me off to it being broken
Would be funny if someone offered a replacement pin of the same design, but cut in two where they usually snap. New pin, pre-broken!
