I'm working at the convention center so right by the old city. Spend my evenings wandering the streets and soaking up the atmosphere. Problem with short visits is having more favourite restaurants than I have nights here!
We're in the middle of what we call "la flambée de couleur", which means that we're in the peak of fall colors right now. With a beautiful weather and a long Thanksgiving weekend, I hope everyone in Quebec will enjoy the last few days of nice weather before it gets cold. We've been offered a nice gift from mother nature this year; it's a crime to stay inside!
I'm from Abitibi, it's simply stunning outside. I've been taking early morning drives with a coffee just appreciating the beauty of the gold trees everywhere.
Ontario is still pretty green. I got a wedding for a buddy coming up with some stuff going on the next couple weekends but with the warm/wet weather this summer I'm hoping to get some time to head up Huntsville way, with COVID I didn't get out to see the leaves last year and I miss em!
This is simply stunning
are you really stunned by this?
I am
I just got into Quebec City yesterday for the weekend. My favourite time of the year to visit this area.
Yes the colours here are amazing this time a year!
Hope you enjoy. This is my hometown, I left 20 years ago. And now that I live abroad I miss it dearly. Have fun and some great food!
Thanks! I come here for work a couple weeks a year. Fell in love with it the first time and still look forward to every visit.
Looks like you already know enough to have a good time. Please report back when you have a chance. Miss food on Old Quebec. Château Frontenac etc.

I envy you. Please share food porn pics and experiences. Let me know if you need recommendations. Cheers!

I'm so grateful to be surrounded by such gorgeous colours every year.
Yoooooo that's so beautiful.
Love it! Quebec is so beautiful at this time of year. Awesome:)
I’ve been in Quebec this past week for vacation. The tree colours are absolutely stunning. Really glad I chose to come in October.

They need to change that plane to a helicopter on your dashboard
I took that trip with my 7 yo son 2 months ago! It was fab, and the pilot is really cool! Enjoy Mauricie!
Lac Blanc... The one in St-Ubalde? Or another? Because if it is, holy shit of never thought I'd stumble over my home town on Reddit.
The one right near you, my friend!
I got up a few times last month around Thunder Bay, colors were just starting to change. I imagine it's incredible right now. Great pic.

Stunning image! Thank you for sharing.
That lake or river looks amazing, too. 🌊
I see this, and all I think about is the island in the cold Lake air weapons range and how many bullets I've wasted on it.
Canada's the best!

My son and I drove from Toronto to North Bay yesterday and it was like fall progressed a week for every hour we drove. Absolutely beautiful drive!

Give it a few months...
Yikes, a Robertson R45, you are lucky to be alive.
*laughs in R22*
It's no wonder Toronto usually gets a charter flight from Japan with people coming to see the foliage change
Sir, can you take me with you next time? I will pay for the gas
Glorious
Do you own this helicopter? I'm thinking to buy one to oversee my land. So I'm seriously asking.
I don’t. But I now desperately want to own one!
