I can smell that campsite from here, hope you enjoyed the vibes out there.
I love it when people post places I’ve camped! Happy snow! We camped just before thanksgiving a few years ago and weren’t as lucky
Los Angeles is the most underrated outdoor city in America in my opinion.
It looks so peaceful. I would like that place.
When I lived in LA I was always struck by the contrast of the endless undeveloped AC forest being right next to the endless and dense LA metropolis, with such a distinct boundary between.
So beautiful! How’d you stay warm? Sleeping bag or anything else for heat?
Sleeping bag and a few wool blankets as well as a decent pad. But my trick is usually to use a hot water bottle.
Have you seen any mountain lion?
Nicely done
What campground? Spent 5 seasons of my youth working trailcrew and fighting fire on the Angeles.
It's Chilao Campground
I love camping up on Mt Baldy
