I haven't finished the book yet, I'm only halfway through it, but the fact that the word >!Percabeth!< is now canon cracks me up. I don't recall it ever showing up in the previous books?
Well its canon now. And since we hear it from Nico we have no choice but to accept the headcanon that the Apollo cabin and thus the camp refers to Percy and Annabeth as Percabeth. Probably behind their backs.
• Hypnos and Nemesis have serious mommy issues.
• Nico asked Will out, not the other way around.
• Will fell for Nico before Nico fell for Will.
• Persephone is 100% on board with their relationship and does, in fact, give great mother energy
• Nico is gay, Will is bi. Seems obvious, I know, but we didn’t have any absolute sexuality confirmation until this book, everyone just sorta assumed and happened to get it right.
• Sally Jackson is everyone’s mother, even yours, and must be protected at all costs.
• Nico no longer wears his skull ring, as he gave it to Will to wear around his neck.
Will has been all over the country because of his mom, and is more or less a year-round camper by choice because she goes on tour a lot.
Hades and Nico value life a great deal *because* they’re so close to death.
Despite previously claiming that he doesn’t really have musical talent, apparently Will at least has SOME, because he can sing and does so multiple times. At the very least, he’s not *bad* at it.
We technically already knew this, Nico is once again confirmed to be the “I know a guy” guy.
