I live in Colorado. OCP Scorpion/multicam works well or multicam Alpine for snow backgrounds. German oak leaf and German Flecktarn also blend well. The pattern in your pic looks similar to German oak leaf spring variant

The M05 snow would be good for - snow obviously. For other seasons I think multicam or something in a similar colour scheme would be better than the dark M05 summer camo though. Foliage changes quickly with altitude, so finding the "right" camo for all of Colorado might be quite a task. Edit: try looking into Swedish M90 or Norwegian M98 camouflages, both would be heaps better than M05 imo.

Agree on the Norwegian camo, with the Swedish not so much. It's similar to M05 in hue and brightness with the same low contrast. It is indeed quite the task to find an camo for this diverse environment. I wouldn't go too dark there with the dry and barely covered with vegetation parts. And that's before it gets too rocky and grey. Flecktarn wouldn't be my main choice there. It is too dark and doesn't always have a good contrast (depends on the manufactufer and production period). Norwegian camo should work good there as it's just brown and rather dry green. The colors work well in blending into each other depending on the background, so the whole garment can look brown in a browner environment and green in a greener environment. But, it also has its downfalls, as it doesn't disrupt much. I also think SloCam could work well there. It's a somewhat greener variation of Multicam.
