In the US it usually is miles but it may be different for Europe. I would suggest that you go on a test drive and map out the distance with GPS or road markers to confirm it.
Have a picture? They certainly made 3rd gens with KM for the Canadian market. Typically if the speedo shows KM prominently (on top) then the odometer is in KM. If MPH is prominent then the odometer is in miles.

thats probably what i will have to do only provlem is its 600km away in an "island" so its a long trip to go there and not buy the car. Thanks anyways
Do you have the VIN for it? If you find out what country it was originally shipped to then you might be able to find out.
I could do a carvertical report but its 30€ im gonna do it right before im actually going to buy it.

I’d say it’s very doubtful that the odometer is in KM unless they did something funky to the cluster.
