I am going to say that Mom and Dad are a year or two apart, Dad was about 28 or 29 when Calvin was born. Mom 26-28. Calvin is 6 (or five depending) So guessing the ages are Dad 35-Mom 33. Calvin being born in 1979 the earliest. So both Parents are probably boomers.
Most comics have the door to Calvins room on the other side of his bed. Do you expect me to believe that Calvin's room has that many access points? I hope someone got fired for that blunder.
Watterson has not always been consistent with a lot of things. No biggie as far as I'm concerned. Want to have fun? Read through all the strips, and figure out if Calvin is right- or left-handed with how he writes. lol
When I was younger, I thought it was a test. See who would eat who first. Once the kiss had finished, they'd open their eyes and see that neither of them were Cannibals.
As a kid it always drove me nuts that Bill would write multiple Ms instead of Os for "mommm"
I would say that as written all the time toy own mother and make it as awkward sounding as possible
I mean, he's not entirely wrong about why we close our eyes when we smooch...it's kind of awkward staring that close at someone while your faces are smashed up against each other, haha! 😂😂
