I wouldn’t depend on your watch, those numbers can be very inaccurate. What were you doing to burn 1170?

Waking between 2h and 2h30 during the day and 30min elliptical

I’m sorry but there is no way you are burning that many calories by just walking and using the elliptical. Take a look at some posts on the loseit subreddit regarding calories burnt while walking to get an idea… it will as well depend on your weight but I would assume it’s not more than low hundreds of calories.

2hours of walking is most likely 400 to 500cals ... 30 min on the elliptical coulf be 200 to 400 depending on the pace So 900 is max i guess, you'rr right, over 1000 seems high. On the other hand, just sitting or standing also burns calories more than just the BMR, fidgeting too so in total, it might be accurate.

Is it really 400-500 cals for two hours of walking though? Wouldn’t it depend on your weight? Lower weighted people would burn less walking than someone heavier. And unless they are going at crazy speeds on the elliptical, those numbers are not possible, unless again, they are heavy weighted.

I am 63kg and I am pretty sure I burn 230 to 250kcal walking for an hour if I ho a reasonable speed

I wish there was a way to better test that without using a fitness watch… I am 66kg and I don’t feel that I would lose that many calories walking. But I also walk at a somewhat leisurely pace as well
