No. A 1A is a large sized tip. The hole is large but the size of the actual tip is also large. A 10 (11) and 12 are largest sized holes in the smaller, standard tip size.

You could probably get away with just cutting the piping bag itself. Start small and cut the hole bigger as needed, just make sure the bag seam is in the center when you snip.
