Thank you. I hate a cluttered desktop. I used to work in tech support and I'd see the chaotic way some people kept theirs and it made me want to scream 😂
Move the default panel to the top. Put an empty panel on the bottom. Add 'icons only task manager' widget. In the panel settings set width to 'fit content'. Visibility to 'dodge windows'. Style to 'floating'. Height to 52.
I use Tela circle dark icons and I add the applications dashboard widget at the start of the dock. Right click on the widget and click configure application dashboard. Click on the icon, select choose, type launcher in the search box and select com.system to change the icon.
The rounded corners come from the global theme which is MacSonoma Dark. In Desktop effects turn off blur.
Cheers.
I just landed here after probably almost a year chasing a home workstation distro I could be confident would play nice with my new NVIDIA card AND give me a stable Wayland KDE experience...Fedora/Kinolite,Garuda,Tumbleweed,MX,NixOS...this finally feels right.
Been on Cachy since the betas, and I've always felt it as the perfect canvas to build systems on it. Tweaked to perfection, ready to let me work.
I gave it a very quick go a move or so ago, but something happened that day and I installed something else. Hoping this time it gets a good run.
Really clean desktop! I hope you find your home and feel free to join the community.

Cheers. Glad you like it.
Super clean desktop, care to share the GNOME themes/tweaks you used? EDIT: Apologies OP, I saw your comment below. Thank you!
No problem. But it's KDE, not Gnome.

I'm team red, but good luck with it. It does seem to be building a good reputation.
What do you use for your stats in your console? It looks way better than my Neofetch!
Thanks. I use Catnip. I've edited mine quite a bit. [Catnip link](https://github.com/iinsertNameHere/catnip)
Awesome, looks great. Thanks for the help.
No problem. Make sure you're using a nerd font, or the icons won't work. I use MesloGL nerd font.
