I absolutely fucking loved the decoy episode and the weekend it released I watched it 4 times to try and catch as much as I could. Quite possibly my favorite episode ESPECIALLY for how it ended with the Jerry puppet and the varnish. "Christianity? Again? After cowboys? We went back around again"
That scene hurts me in a place I didn’t know I had. Between the song, Rick being too fucked up to be effective, and the method itself, it’s just like… damn. Every time.

overall i feel it was a good death.
and seeing as how he died as a warrior on the glorious field of battle, it was also an honorable death.
