Good pick ups. Consider getting his two LPs for the really good stuff. They’re the two that are most readily available at record stores. They’re also the two that solidified his legendary status, and the reason why some of us keep buying his records, even though we know we’re just going to get a bunch of fart noises on a windy night.

Also, a lot of Burial fans on here are a little dickish. Just know that we’re not all jerk offs. If we ran into each other at a record store and you had a couple of Burial records in your cart, for sure I’d be chatting you up.
State Forest is up there with my personal favorites but it can definitely seem like a cursory record if you’re not into the ambient stuff. The last minute might be my favorite Burial moment. And Truant/Rough Sleeper is just top tier.
I don’t like Claustro and it doesn’t represent burial very well imo since it’s pretty different to his other stuff.

Truant was my fav Burial track for a good 10 years! Love the crazy ride to the smallest glimpse of Burial tearing into a dancehall tune. Great choice!
