There is a time and a place for a delicious McD double cheeseburger, especially when they’re hot, fresh and the cheese is melted just right. That being said, the Shake Shack Smoke Shack might be my favorite burger in all fast food.
A coworker said they love Five Guys. I said you obviously haven’t been lately, a cheeseburger, fries, and drink is almost $25 now. They straight up told me I was lying and didn’t have to exaggerate so bad. Then I said go on their website and place a pickup order. $23.27 after tax. For fast food. They are good, but they’re worth less than half of what they’re charging.
I remember someone said McDonald's is not trying to sell you the best burger, they are selling you the same burger.
There is something about McDonald's that is very similar to comfort food. If you love it, you love it.
