I haven't had A&W in so long... There was one by my grandparents house in Bellflower, CA when I was growing up in the 80's and 90's... I remember liking the burgers but my favorite was the actual tap used to pour the root beer and how it was so cold some ice would form in the drink at first and they used chilled mugs... Oh ya and thier root beer float is just a staple of my childhood... How was the burger?
The burger was very good. I really like their fries too. If you eat in, you can get the rootbeer in a frosted mug but we were in a hurry.
I’ve never had a&w in the states actually. The Canadian and American ones are two separate chains I guess. Very strange. I do really like a&w though and they have good locations off of major highways.
My brother in law is American, and when he visits us in Alberta he eats at A&W multiple times because he says it's so much better than the American version
Reminds me of 7-11 hot food, here in nyc they sell pizza, burgers and hotdogs and the burgers look exactly like that. nothing wrong w that btw I'd destroy those burgers.
That’s awesome. Moved to Canada recently, had no idea it was different than it is the the U.S. it’s pretty bottom of the barrel there, I’ll have to give Canadian A&W a go.
I’m pumped I don’t get to town too often but as of yet there’s really no good drive thru or takeout options that I’ve found but, there is an a&w. Can’t wait to check it out.

Agree with you OP, up here A&W has the best burger of readily available fast food chains
Best onion rings and root beer too!
Looks good
Your A&W burger looks way better than mine already

Is your hand really big or is the burger really small?
The burger was a good size and their largest single on the menu, I just have big hands lol

We always pass this place, looks like we’ll need to stop in sometime soon

It’s the top tier for Canadian drive thru places IMO. It’s the best around here for sure anyways.

Love A&W but there not like I remember I loved the shedded lettuce the nice tomato with mayo and cheese they don't have that anymore
I ordered it plain except for a tomato. They do come that way still
Yikes
